It's so insane how Was and Bananas used to be rivals and had one of the biggest grudge feuds on reality TV and are now not only best friends but brothers in a way and seeing Bananas emotionally try to help Wes accept the possibility this could be his last rodeo after the elimination was a great moment in history because that wouldn't have happened a few years ago 🔥.... And now they get to be on the same time and go on one last possible run together 😎....

Wow! This was quite the emotional episode for challenge legend Wes Bergman 😨.... Facing a survivor big brother conglomerate against him and nowhere to turn Wes life in this game was in the danger zone big time. But more importantly even bigger life changing things were on Wes mind and that's the fact his wife is pregnant with their child and Wes had to face the huge reality that the game he's loved and dedicated his life to could be coming to an end after this season 🥺.... And instead of bowing down Wes did what he could to give himself a fighting chance in classic Wes humor but was already preparing for the daunting task his game could be on the line. Then the elimination happened and Wes took on Dusty in a battle of endurance and strategy and instead of feeling the pressure Wes took a methodical slow approach and did his best. Dusty went faster than Wes and quickly knocked him off the roller. Accepting defeat and reality this was it Wes greatest rival turned friend comforted him ready to let his friend go off into a new big life responsibility away from the challenge.... And instead Wes WON!!!! In one of the biggest underdog battles yet Wes defied the odds and won and defected to team blue to form a super squad 🔥🔥🔥.... Regardless of what happens the rest of the way Wes has paved a legacy in the challenge that will live forever when he does hang it up..... 😎

I have been a HUGE fan of the challenge from the beginning. AND as a fan of Wes and bananas, I have always preferred that they were allies. For the last few years, they have been, and I LOVE it! I love when all the vets align

Wes winning shook things up in a big way!!! The Survivor alliance has been running the game for most of the show and Wes winning has shook up the balance of power big time in favor of the vets 🔥... I suggested a few weeks ago that Johnny Bananas and Wes both needed to defect to team blue with Tori to form a super team and they did 🔥.... More importantly they have the voting majority on team blue and things are going to get very interesting.....

On Survivor and Big Brother, the game play is ruthless and some people use tactical manipulation to win. I mean on Survivor Johnny Fairplay back on 2003 had his friend lie about his grandma being dead, so when the challenge with the loved ones came within the game the castmates would feel sorry for him. Turns out, after hearing the lie that Johnny Fairplay's friend did, the cast did indeed award Johnny Fairplay to spend time with his friend on the island thinking that was the truth. So that is the type of manipulation Big Brother and Survivor have to deal with moreso than those who are just from The Challenge. Also, Wes at times has within past confessionals boasted about being a mastermind and how he has people as his puppets. So, when claiming to be a mastermind and how people are his puppets within the past then I can see why the new people would think it's a tactic, since he has used manipulation in the past. Also, those on CBS shows are used to not fully trusting other on shows because manipulation is used in Big Brother and Survivor a lot.

I said the same thing. I know we only see what production cuts and pastes, so my feelings weren't based on what we saw, but rather what the other competitors saw. Every one of them reacted as though dusty won it hands down. Their reaction was what sealed this for me. There's been rumblings in the past about the crew fixing a win for a loser but I didn't believe it till this one. I think Dusty got hosed for the drama that Wes' win would create. They need to either release the entire battles or they need to have time clocks going to show the full story. This one bothered me. As a competitor myself, I don't like any hint of rigging. Disappointing.

For the first time, I question the truthfulness of the winner. Everyone there acted like they believed Wes lost, and amazingly, he wins it? There's always been rumblings of the crew rigging a battle and giving it to the loser and I never believed it till this battle. The times should be shown as they go to avoid any thought of deception. This seems kinda rigged. They didn't put times at the bottom like usual and even the cast was shocked that Wes won. Seemed so obvious that Dusty was quicker. Kind of annoys me even as a huge Wes fan how clearly rigged this was. Like atleast make it less blatant. TJ says how close it was '37 seconds' and its in favor of Wes. So you're telling me the guy that went from wheel to wheel right away, got the second wheel off in seconds and basically got Wes off the spinner in what seemed like less than 10 seconds lost by 37 seconds in the end? Also every single cast member being absolutely stunned, including Wes who said himself Dusty won. If you're gonna edit it/rig it that blatantly atleast make it like 1-5 seconds difference but this was just pathetic.

I think the timer starts as soon as they run to untie the ropes. Dusty took awhile unraveling which helped Wes stay on the log longer. So even though it looks like Dusty got him off the wheel sooner, Wes was still clocking in “no fall time” while Dusty was at the ropes.

@@aquarius1535 it was poor editing by them. Also I felt like Dusty getting to go second was a bit of an advantage as I definitely think the better strategy was to do the second wheel right away instead of eating some of your time trying to turn the first wheel. Everything about this elimination just looked rigged from cast reactions to editing and even I dont feel 37 second difference was 'small' atleast by editing this elimination looked like it barely took any time at all to complete.
