Alafia, yes. From Baba Falokun Fatunmbi -"Ifa calls astrology gede from the elision ge dide meaning female power stands up. This is a reference to the energy passing through the portals called Odu meaning womb." Gede is concerned with the planets and stars; their influence us, and on portals called Igbodu.
