Newcastle have had alot more injuries this season than Man Utd have had. Eddie Howe has spent less money since he joined nearly 8 months before Ten Haag did yet almost all his signings have been successful and you could see what their style of play was within weeks of him becoming manager. He has also improved not just his signings like Gordon but all the players he inherited like Joelinton, Willock, Schar etc. None of these things you can say about Ten Haag.
