Great response! Thisis great song with Tom grappling with his inner demon. Tom has actually suffered from anxiety, depression, alcoholism and has had suicidal thoughts in the past. If you'd like to see more about his personal struggle and journey, check out "Church", "Scars" , "Balloons" and " Sober". Tom is sober now, but still deals with both anxiety and depression at times. He knows he has an addictive personality and channels that towards his music and his personal fitness now. Please continue to follow Tom's music. Much ❤️

Trust me, my family has had its fair share of devastation because of suicide. I had two first cousins and a nephew to kill themselves over drugs and depression and feeling hopeless. my daughter also had a 15-year-old boy who was a classmate at her school kill himself over his girlfriend. I was suicidal a couple of years ago and I was on suicide watch for 24 hours but thank God by his grace I was able to push through and survive. I had two daughters and especially two little tiny grandbabies that needed me in this world, so I had to fight it. thank you for your very honest and passionate commentary.

I love your reactions. Nova outdid herself in this video! I think everyone can relate to this. We all have these little demons telling us something that's not good for us. We have to fight these inner feelings that try to drag us down. Tom was a wrestler for a while. There's definitely some acting involved there! Tom faces himself here, but there are those that have dogged him relentlessly. His song "White Boy" got a lot of hateful backlash. The song has a great message, but many people hear a few select words without listening to the actual content fully and see the song as racist. It's far from it actually. Some comments to him were for him to kill himself. This can be seen in his song, and answer to all the hate, called "This House". If you listen to those, it's best to hear White Boy first and then This House (which is a masterpiece).

FYI this took number one on iTunes over Eminem’s entire new album the same week it dropped! He had this video ready and waiting for Eminem to drop just to see how he would compete!! The primary message behind this song and video is that if you see hate comments or someone says something directly to you that is negative you can’t let that overtake you and who you are. He is saying that we have to be stronger than the negative voices and stay confident and work hard to achieve our goals. In other words don’t let outside words and opinions make you forget who you know you are and what you know you are capable of #BestRapperEver #HangoverGangForever🔥🤘🌟🏆

Dear Slim [Eminem fans attacked Tom, for showing Eminem’s CD Cover, in the Dear Rappers Video, Tom bid on a beat my Em, and won, and responded using Em’s own beat!] This video… Best Rapper Ever “Best Rapper Ever” video will explain the Black eyes vs. regular eyes. Basically, “Stronger Version,” a recent song, is a sequel to “Best Rapper Ever,” discussing his overcoming and growing from where he was before. It’s a different kid of Tom. Tom’s parents appeared in the Ghost video! Also, you should know that Tom and Nova have a duo “band” called GFBF ( Girlfriend Boyfriend) Check out the GFBF rock song “Rejects” to hear their semi-80’s alternative rock sound. Recorded in their old living room, live! Or… “Foul Mouth Wasted” which sounds like a cross between the B52’s, and the Talking Heads, but note that the Foul mouth is literal, as they do a lot of swearing… though they are beeped out in the video… LOL Nova is a rapper and singer too… check out her rap song, “Problem,” but make sure it’s the live performance version, HER VERSION, not the record company version; the Nova version was performed on the show, Kinda Neat, and it starts off showing her feet in flip-flops 🩴! She had black hair back then! Tom, Adam, and Nova released the song "Chrome" which isn't political at all... it reminisces about where they each came from... and their journey to rap!
