Beautiful countries! If I have to choose the best tourism ad, I'd go with the Philippines. I like their concept, from the title alone, makes me kinda relate it to this pandemic. Their monologues are so artistic and poetic. "Until we can travel again, stay at home and wake up in the philippines" Damn! Just this sentence is enough to invoke my desire to travel! I'm a Retired American Expat from VEGAS, both countries are beautiful in "The Eyes Of The Beholder", already moved to the PHILIPPINES last year and loving it very much. NO PUN INTENDED, one thing I noticed, the ads from Indonesia is very short in spite of much bigger and more islands in w/c they should show more to attract more tourism. While the Philippines are much longer and much more beautiful tropical sceneries to see w/ nothing looks the same and there's more fun things to do that compliments the ads, just my 2 cents...

Don't get me wrong...both ads are beautiful. But, Indonesian ad is just like an ad, an advertisement just that....I don't feel the heart within, the passion and the encouragement to attract viewers to come and visit the country. It's lacking something. A little bit dark and heartless😢 While the Philippine ad was very entertaining, attractive, bright and encouraging. You can feel the warm heart that is so inviting. True, the Indonesian ad doesn't have that urge to attract tourists, It just shows some of the beautiful scenery that you can see and visit; and to me, it feels that the people on the ad were not having fun, they're just their to show the places and not introduce it, whereas in the Philippine ad, they're not just enjoying the experience, they show the beauty, the allure, the majestic side of each region of the country and the different activities and experiences that each tourists prefer to do. So I think that's why the Philippine ad is more nice..

Yeah, more Filipinos needs to travel to our closest brother in the ASEAN Region, Indonesia, just like how we previously going to Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and recently, Vietnam. I think by visiting this countries we will understand, appreciared more of ourselves in terms of Culture, Identity, Values, Tradition and Nature. Wake up in Ifugao - particularly in Batad, Banaue where you can be mesmerized by the soft cottony drape of clouds seemingly being lifted in the morning to reveal the manmade marvel that is Batad Rice Terraces. Walk barefoot down the village passing through the rice paddies on your way to the Tapiyya Falls for a cool dip at its natural pool. In the evening, you may be in for a cultural treat by the villagers where you may experience Ifugao traditional songs and dances through interactive performances. Have a good sleep. Wake up in the morning. Repeat. On a personal note, I usually travel to Batad at least once a year for rest and relaxation. It is a slice of heaven right at my own backyard. I am an Ifugao but I still can't get enough of the wonders that Batad offers.

While the Indonesian tourism ad shown really the wonderful places and culture of their country, it seemed a bit dark and lonely somehow. The Philippine ads were more colorful, bright and fun and seems more inviting somehow. It’s somehow unfair, though, because the Philippines had many more ads than Indonesia.

I guess it's the Indonesian campaigners/ad maker their tourism who made that video short, or chooses and decide what's only cover within their ad....and it's not about how long or short an ad is....it's the quality and the story that you wanna bring to your viewer that matters... Coz Philippines has many hidden treasures, every provinces have something beautiful & nice to offer that anyone in the World can appreciate. It has very rich Marine biodiversity as Center of the World. It doesnt have Buddhist temples like the rest of Asean, but Philippines has the Oldest Chinatown in the World, so Buddhists can also go there, PH celebrates Chinese New Year btw. Soon, PH will have new city called New Clark City and it will have Korean town, & maybe soon Japanese town, Asean town, European town, Arabic town & Africa town too, when it already has Safari in Palawan & “Baluarte ni Singson” in Vigan Ilocos Sur.

I've been to Bali Indonesia and it's a wonderful place to visit and I plan to come back to explore Ubud and other places as well. Both countries have their own unique beauty. I am proud to be a Filipino. #ItsmorefuninthePhilippines
