If he just quickly helps hold it down just to help her out thats just him being a good person, it doesn’t mean there is something there between them and just because he’s and man and she’s a women doesn’t mean the intentions are bad and that the interaction was flirty. Same with the water, even if she was being flirty about asking to open the water if he just opens it quickly and doesn’t pay any mind to her after than why is it a problem? Regarding the perilla leaf thing, the embarrassment of struggling to get one leaf in front of people that you barely met is pretty real, and Andrew saying that he'd ease the pressure by helping the girl out would be a sign of him being considerate, to me personally at least. He might just also be waiting for her to get a leaf so that he could get the next one, and it's taking way too damn long, so he's expediting it by helping her so that he can continue eating 😂

I don't know if it's because I'm queer and my attraction towards everyone is the same, but I don't understand the big deal about the perilla leaf debate. To me, it's as simple as I see someone struggling, so I'm helping them out. It's not that deep or serious, I don't need to be paying close attention to literally anyone to be seeing that they're struggling with something.
