He has messed up the story a bit. Carl was never jailed and Elena’s body wasn’t found in the jail. No one claimed that he was killed by Elena’s spirit or anything. Carl was obsessed with her dead body and used to live with her corpse. There was no ghost/spirit.

The story is so glorified. This man robbed her grave. Defiled her body in more ways than one. He harassed her while she was alive. Left his wife and kids to be with her while she kept denying his advances.
