Messi has the most "magical" feeling passes but can't say he's the best passer due to the fact he's always on the right side of the field passing towards the forward on the opposite side. He basically repeats the same pattern for his passes much like a lot of his goals. He's just so good at them that players still can't stop him but nonetheless predictable. Hard to say "best" when ure mostly doing a few type of passes. Pogba probably has the most flashy type passes but they're all passes that are difficult to receive. I remember what made Xavi the best passer was that he made the pass easy for his teammates to receive. He considered their pace, preferred foot, etc and although the passes weren't flashy or looked cool, they were effective. Amazing passer no doubt, but not sure about best. De Bruyne another amazing passer. Personally I feel like he's more like the smart nerd in school or smth. Perfect textbook passes but lacks creativity when compared to others in this list (not saying he isn't creative, just in comparison to others in the list). Ozil super creative, amazing passer but inconsistent. Modric is probably the most balanced passer among this list. I wouldn't necessarily call him the best in any category, unlike those above, but no doubt he is another amazing passer. Conclusion: Best would probably go to Ozil but I would probably choose Modric or De Bruyne if I was managing a football team. Well....technically Messi would be pick 1 but he isn't a central midfielder. If I was watching HL or an entertaining game then I would want to watch Pogba or Ozil when he's doing well. And Messi of course. I wouldn't complain with anyone of these players on my team tho.

He has many variations on it but it's all nonetheless same. Look at the video above, it's literally a composition of similar passes over and over again. Go watch his goal hl. Literally the same goals over and over again. Starts from the right, dribbles towards the center, he either shoots or passes to the forward on the opposite side, slowly crawls in, receives a cut back to score an easy goal. Always found it funny how Messi fans would complain that all Ronaldo does is tap ins when all Messi is have is this single play in his book. He can't utilize this very well in Argentina hense why he ain't doin too well there. He has no counter attack, he doesn't move wide into the side, and he doesn't make many runs into the back space to create space in front. Not saying Ronaldo is perfect or better or anything but that's just how it is. Messi is just so God damn skilled that even knowing this it feels impossible to stop him. Plus this is about the "best passer". It ain't about just short passes or any other certain type of pass. It's about the best passer period. Personally I wouldn't put a passer who is specialized in a certain pass to be the best passer. You need to be good at every type of pass and be above others in many different categories to earn that title.

Seen an overwhelming amount of comments in favour of Ozil, followed by Messi. Ozil when firing on all cylinders and playing with good strikers will cause defences heart ache. I watch most leagues thoroughly and only KDB and Ozil cause me to smile when they play well. KDB of 2017/18 was scary to watch, almost every chance he created resulted in a goal or a goal attempt. Give KDB a few more years at that level and he will surpass Ozil. But Ozil has been killing defences since 2010 so I put him over KDB for now.

Accuracy & the most creative passer is Ozil but his consistency is the big down side for him. Deadly passer is definitely Messi & also magical somehow. KdB is form anywhere passer & the best crosser. Modric is Technique Passer & has the consistency that any passer want. The most Risky passer here is Pogba, the less accurate from the list & yet very good passer. Modric & Ozil make passing look much easier than it's & so effective. Messi ,Ozil & KdB are better at attacking passes because of their positions.
