Jay is nice but big was exciting! When I was a teenager it was always somebody in crew that used to just bust out a Jay verse or big verse while we were just playing ball or kicking it. One time We all rapped the first verse of can I live and then we started rapping the first verse of who shot ya and the whole vibe changed. BIG had better delivery and more conviction in his material to me.

He did have influence on him however it was puffy, and Un they created the player image. Pac just gave him advice to make sure you have something for the females, and help him far as inside stuff on the business.
