I think people who's native language is english doesnt have an early education on others languages because english is kind of universal. In my country we speak spanish so they teach us basic english since we are little, but atually the education system is kind of bad, so most of my country can't speak or understand english.

I actually guessed a bunch of those right because I speak Spanish, and Spanish and Portuguese are very similar. The words are spelled similar, so I can understand them, but they're pronounced differently so I can't read it out loud lol

I think knowing Spanish is a big advantage and it's a beautiful language. I knew a girl who knew Spanish and she was able to understand some french because of some the similarities in the languages.

Latin languages are very similar, so Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and a great part of French are all similar. English has a lot of latin words too, so I hope this encourages you to learn new languages, it's very fun and healthy to the brain.
