我覺得他很專注演戲所以可能沒很多時間去看綜藝節目或電視劇，因此他好像跟其他人慢一點。但是他絕對不蠢，只是他用很多時間去思考所以看起來反應慢。他是比較慢熱跟被動，他表現出來的性格就要要看他跟什麼人在一起在做什麼。我覺得他挺正常的。我在學校時遇見很多學霸男孩都這樣。

其實很簡單，成毅就是一個"演員"，在專業領域非常有魅力跟想法，所以在和他熟悉的領域有重疊的時候表現得特別吸引人。其他娛樂性節目就是讓喜歡他的人能多看他戟演唄，畢竟太低調了，除了拍戲基本看不到人。

因为他的思维是纵向的，不是横向的，不适合那种需要快速反应的游戏，因为他反应不过来一时间规则都还没弄明白游戏就结束了，但是很适合那种需要沉浸式入戏的，只要有足够时间让他把所有信息都吃透，就能发挥出异于常人的分析力。

看過他綜藝表現就會明白當初琉璃的發表記者會跟雲歌會的他為何那麼僵硬，他跟某些交際較圓滑甚至可說老練的藝人就是兩個極端，但你會發現那是他不爭不搶也不強出頭的本性，以藝人來說很難得。立人設更不可能，誰能憨到這麽自然。。我反而有點心疼他上比較搞笑的綜藝時必需努力讓自己去融入大家，卻又常狀況外的表情，但其實他是慢熱型，不熟不能放飛玩的（看過一年級便知，他也有很活潑跳脫的ㄧ面）。感覺得到他是很實在純正的人，雖不是長得超俊美，但有很可貴的人格特質。

I don't like people calling him stupid and stuff. Everyone has different strengths. He's Introverted and cannot integrate into situations. He needs time to get familiar with people and then his funny side comes out. He's someone who is humble and very real. He's a great actor and a person with deep thoughts. He himself said once that he is not as interested in variety shows and just wants to focus on acting. I am happy if he can just live the way he wants.

I like him more because his little fails and little mistakes. It makes him look like he's a normal man and not just a spotless idol that so many other ' famous' people prefer. This is his real self. he doesn't wear a mask. There are VERY few celebrities that are not afraid to show their real self on camera. He looks so innocent and pure, like a little kid. On the contrary, he is much smarter than many. These shows are simply made for people who are almost hyperactive, and they also have a lot of background in these types of action shows. Where Cheng Yi really shines is on shows where he can demonstrate his mental abilities, not physical ones. That said, Cheng Yi is also a sensitive person, but very reserved and contained in his way of being, so many may think that he is a bit cold, but not further from the truth. He has a lot of sensitivity and that shows in each of the characters he plays. That is why he is able to express so much in his performances, and it is thanks to his gestures and micro-expressions. To his capacity for empathy and emotional intelligence towards everyone and everything around him.

Two of my favourite Chinese actors, Zhang BinBin and Cheng Yi, both are low-key and hard-working. Both of them in funny variety shows look like they are not on the same page as the others. But it's not the reality. Cheng Yi takes a different aspect. For example, in the picture part if anybody looks at those pictures will notice whose picture is the best (Cheng Yi's). He was enjoying the scenery and taking good pictures as a remembrance. Also, his idea of being hand in hand may have seemed foolish at the beginning but in the end, it was exactly turned out to be the right idea but it had to be performed differently.
