I am 64 years old . I danced under the disco globe light, to this song with the love of my life who later became my ex. Looking back I feel so fortunate. But at this age I found the remake remarkable however the Bee Gees hands down . Your sweet reaction is honest comes across as heartfelt. And I would surmise that the two Bee Gees who are now in heaven are smiling as well at your reaction. That their music lives on. Thank you so much

Usually, the first time you hear a song, that is the version you will prefer (think Downtown Train by Rod Stewart and the original Tom Waits song). But I think with this comparison, it does not matter. The Bee Gees wins hands down!

Enjoyed Yebba, they have such an R&B feel, informal, really good. No knocks on them. But the BeeGees are the original, and as someone who grew up on that in the 70's, I still think it's better. Don't think they should be pitted against each other, both versions were fantastic, but picking a winner, BeeGees, just for my nostalgia. And really enjoy your channel, India.

Always loved Bee Gees. I hear their music and it takes me back to a place a cover can't for sentimental reasons but i can truly appreciate everything PJ Morton and Yebba did to this classic with the orchestra. They took the song and made it a "Now" song. Having a great deal of appreciation for the original allows me to have both on a playlist but I'll be jamming to the Yebba/ Morton more often. So much soul!😍 Loved the original and it will always be an original masterpiece but i do appreciate the touch of soul that was added. Opens a new dimension for me.

This is Bee Gees and it isn't even close for me. They wrote the song, performed it first and performed it the best. The Bee Gees version peaked at #1 in the US on Xmas 1977 and stayed in the top 10 for a then-record 17 straight weeks! And it is just pronounced 'Bee Jeez' (not Bees and Gees); Bee Gees stands for the "brothers Gibb" as the group was made up of brothers Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb. Barry, the one with the high falsetto, is the only surviving member.

Nothing can beat the original, the Bee Gees are legends. However, I love ❤️ a good cover. Thank you India, I probably would not have ran across the other version if you hadn't had the comparison. And it was beautiful in it's own right. I will be adding it to my playlist. Even with it being the same song, it seems unfair to compare them. It doesn't have to beat, or even " measure up" to the original version. It is a lovely version with heart and soul of it's own. Loved the jazzy tones, the combination of voices that were so different from each other, yet complimented each other perfectly. I'm so happy you are exploring the Bee Gees as well. You are going to be amazed!! They are one of a kind artists, sounding like angels😇. They have collaborated with other artists and writes most of their songs. Bee Gees....Hits the emotive strings and the memories come flooding back!!! They are towards the top, if not at the top of the Premier League when it comes to music. The PJ Morton version was nice, but doesn't compare....it's almost unfair to pit artists against the BEE GEES when it comes to their material, because that brotherly connection and harmonies that had be honed since they were kids will always win out!!

Just a fun fact ... I was watching this video (for the first time ever) and couldn't listen to PJ's version anymore cause I'm a die - hard Bee Gees fan . And, when I FFwd to later in the video, I just HAPPENED to stop where the BEE GEES were singing the same exact words that PJ was singing when I left his version. (Where they sing "Keep me warm in your love...) ... That was just a bit too coincidental to me. I may like PJ's version if I heard it more than once, but, to me, the Bee Gees will always do the best version. TYSM for sharing this video. 😉

I didn’t know this version of PJ, which is great, is grooving, it’s impossible to stand quiet listening to it (thanks to introduce me to it!), but Bee Gees really bring something from my inner to the surface, I feel chills, not to mention that Barry’s highs are still praised these days as among the best ever.
