Who Says Drifting in BeamNG Drive is Difficult?

Hey, no hate here, but it seems like the main issue might be in your technique. It looks like you’re mostly focusing on steering control, but in drifting, throttle control is just as crucial. Here are a few things I noticed: Throttle and Gear Control: You were often in too low of a gear and overusing the throttle, which led to oversteering. Either the power came on too quickly, or you hit the rev limiter and couldn't maintain the drift. Managing throttle input and staying in the right gear range will help. Car Choice: Some of the cars you chose made things harder. For example: The First one is in my opnion just a Bad Car for Drifting The BMW had too much grip, which isn't ideal for drifting. The Ibishu was too powerful for tight cornering-possible to control, but it takes experience. The Corvette only worked because it had an angle kit. The last car you tried had too little steering angle, making it tough to catch slides when you started to spin out. Suggested Setup: I'd recommend starting with a lower-powered car to build your skills. Try the Ibishu Diana GTZ Turbo M with: Drift quick steering (or quick-ratio steering if you’re up for more of a challenge). Welded differential. Full race suspension (race coilovers and race sway bars). If you’re struggling with power, upgrade to a larger turbo and a heavy-duty engine block (but keep the power under 320 PS). This setup will help you get comfortable with the fundamentals before moving to more advanced drift cars like the FD versions. Once you’re ready, the ETK i Drift version is also a great option for more experienced drifters. Hope this helps!

The default tires on this bmw configuration you are using are different! The front has racing tires with more grip and the rear has sport tires with less grip. This is why oversteer is highly likely to occur😉

honestly drifting for me is hard but for some reason powersliding in rally is easy, and track is easy too but just drifting gives me a struggle

yeah drifting is really a struggle, but one get better with practice, I can drift almost in every game, even assetto corsa, but this BeamNG drifting is something else bro.

Solution Use rear sport tires Use both race sway bars and full anti roll spring rate. Use drift steering wheel Long rear final drive Turbo psi is 14, 0.15 rpm with 8500rpm limit. ETK best Best for keyboard

@@BeamNGXpert9 i mean capcut is great for short for content or edits but if you would want to move on bigger projects then you have to switch to davinci for free or premiere for money both are great i use davinci if you want to be on same level as adobe (premiere) then you can buy davinci studio for 300 dollras for ever in adobe you have to pay every month also you have to switch between programs in davinci you have everything fusionc color grading edit page cut page etc its great after all that it only comes to personal prefference and if u want to learn nodes i learnt them in 1 month its so easy but looks complicated so yeah just tip from editor you can also hire one if u dont want to switch so yeah hope it helps

i used to edit in premiere, when i was employed we had to work with adobe softwares and honestly premiere is my favorite editing app but just can't work with it anymore because of the monthly subscriptions, then i shifted to davinci and been working with that for some time and then i got capcut and i was actually amazed with the features it offers, it makes editing so much faster tbh

try using lower hp cars try cjd specials drift steering mod practice controlling donuts and then figure 8s then move onto corners

Hey bro so I got a problem with my game. I started career and got in the car. The brake lights are on and idek how to get the car to move. Any other mode I can drive no problem but not career. Do you know anything about that?

The rel problem with beamng drifting Is the stock car's steering angle and the ffb shaking at full lock other than that its quiet easy

@@BeamNGXpert9 you have to First build your car, from my experience the pessima Is the best drift car, get some drift mods for the pessima from repo. Use High profile tires (14 or 15 inch rims) and tune your ffb for that car (make a base tune and adjust later if neccessary). Then you have to tune your suspension to make the steering and ffb work properly (this Is the hardest part so you have to experiment with the settings). Remember that every car needs a different FFB setting (wheel and software). NOTE: wheel spacing has a big impact on steering Just like in real Life so most of the time fitment Will be sh!t but Will drive nice.
