Very Different 10,s. Ball in hand and in contact Handre is the man. Ability to get over the advantage line. Manie however has the ability of spotting gaps, delaying passes and accelerating of the mark, causing overlaps. He links much better with his backline and doesn't wait for contact before offloading. South Africa has an underutilized backline and Manie is the catalyst they need.

If we choose the same 15 as in 2019 we will lose. They are not the players they were, and we need a blend of old and new. Manie is one of the players who is now in form, and has shown that he is now one of the best 10's in world rugby, if not THE best.

If you look at all the teams winning the World Cup you’ll see most were done with an experienced no 10 in charge. So I would have Pollard in starting 15 with Libbok on the bench.

Libbok is more creative, but Pollard is more physical. Their defense is probably most important when choosing between them.

Very different styles. Both read the game very well and make defence splitting passes and kicks. Pollard has the advantage of brute strength and being able to break defensive lines. Libbok has an elusive swerve and sidestep as well as a good turn of pace. Very good at timing his passes. Defensively I’d probably hand it to Pollard

I like Manie Libbock, he brings a more attacking dimension to the game, something the Boks are going to sorely need against attacking, running sides like Ireland and France. The days of "skop en kyk rond" (a-la Faf de Klerk) must please now be over.

Libbok played pollard into the team. High level sport is about pressure. Manie unfortunately at the moment can’t get the dam kicks over. Pollard also misses kicks however he proved in 2019 that he can handle the massive pressure of goal kicking in tight games

Both are fantastic but you can't compare Pollard from 5 years ago to the player he is now, he has definitely slowed down A LOT. If Manie can get his kicking over 85% he will be one of the best flyhalfs we've seen in 20 years

Can't win a world cup without an experienced 10. It's been proven time and again. Libbok is the clear 2nd choice and I'm a huge fan but let's be honest here. It's not a debate. Even without taking Pollard's great form into account, he is the bok vice captain which means if kolisi doesn't make it back from injury in time Pollard will probably be the captain. And even if he isn't made captain he'll probably stay vice captain. He's starting every knock out game at the world cup. Again, huge Libbok fan. Can't wait to see more of him in a bok jersey. Specially playing with players like Willie, Am, Kolbe and KLA.

Personally, we need a general at 10. Im a Stormer, and love what Manie brings, especially being able to kick so well from both feet, but his time will come. But since Pollard is injured now, Manie is the obvious choice.
