Risacher at 4 Salaun at 8 If Spurs are feeling frisky, they should explore paths to trading into the late lottery and draft best guard available. One of Dillingham, Topic, Carington, Carter would be amazing to add to the French duo from our top two picks. If we draft at 35 there are some international prospects I really like: Klintman, Dadiet, Nunez, Durisic, Ajinca.

If Hawk gets Clingan at 1, Wizard gets Sarr at 2, Rocket gets Reed at 3, than Risacher available at 4 is a no-brainer choice. If we really want Castle after getting Risacher, Maybe make a trade with Hornet is a bold choice. Hornet gets: No.8 pick + 2025 Hornet's pick back + Zach Spur gets: No.6 pick + Micic Piston won't pick Castle. They have to extend Cade's contract for Max. Hornet gets their 2025 1rd back and a backup center good at high post. Spur gets Castle at 6 and Micic for backup PG if Tre opts out next year. Castle - Vassell - Risacher - Sochan - Wemby would be a very morden style team for sure.

@@Gunterforever Thanks for your message!!! I like Castle. He has that dog on D but without shoot for now. And that's what Risacher already has. If we go lucky to get them both, the starting line will more balance than we thought. But if we only can get one of them, I hope it's Castle.

If Spurs don't trade away their first pick, they should take any of the following players if still available at #4 in the following order: 1) Zaccharie Risacher 2) Alexandre Sarr 3) Stephon Castle 4) Reed Sheppard

They should package 4 & 8 to Trade up for Sarr (ATL probably gets Klingan at the 4). Then trade back ATL's 25' & 26" first rd picks (Murray trade) plus players for Trae Young. That quickly becomes a NASTy team.

Sheppard and Carter at 4 and 8, try to trade forna pick in the teens and go for Durisic. Then go for any of Filipowski, Scheierman, or Mitchell.

Holland and Topic. Spurs still need to add talent and to go for the highest potential, best player available, you can't just think about fit. Ron Holland is the most productive against tougher competition, while being the youngest to do so with that amount of responsability. And Topic healthy was a top 5 lock, people don't realize how special Nikola Topic is or what he's done in Serbia at just 18. You could justify Castle over Topic because of injury, but there's no way that Stephon Castle should be picked over Ron Holland, defensively Holland is as effective, more versatile and he's way better in the open court and at finishing, better shot creator, better at everything while Holland is still 18. And you can still find your PG at 8 with Topic or anyone else. It is a minor partial tear, Topic could be ready to play when the season starts, the Spurs medical staff extensively talked with Topic's agent, they've interviewed Topic and they seem confident about the diagnosis and his recovery.

Risacher draft stock dropped after the Europe NBA draft combine, his arms are short for his size, his vert and athletics measurables were not impressive at all. But who knows, just like everyone else in the draft, not sold, lol.

Risacher then Dillingham. Trade up by trading Collins, #4 and #48 for Risacher. Trade #8 , Keldon Johnson, Trae Jones and Devonte Graham for Lonzo Ball, Alex Caruso and #11. Use #11 for Dillingham (or Topic or Castle). Grab Isiah Hartinstien, Bol Bol, Nic Batum and Drummond in free agency. Lonzo Ball and Alex Caruso is an elite backcourt that fit what Pop likes and Wemby needs. Add Vassel and Dillingham, and it is deep , dynamic, versatile, great defensively and passing with good shooting.
