Unlike the rest of the Sonic voice actors, Ryan voice for Sonic, he usually has the tone of a Happy-Go-Lucky guy. He rarely changes his tone. This isn’t me saying Ryan is a terrible Sonic voice actor (he’s actually one of my favorites), I’m just stating something I figured out a while back.

Max really does fit Sonic imo, but they'll most likely get Ben to voice him. Ryan Drummond's voice aged like Jaleel White's when they got him to be in that Sonic live action fan film.

I grew up with Jason Griffith as well. He was my absolute favorite. I didn't like Roger, but after I heard that he was leaving, I was happy at first but then felt sad. I had realized what I was thinking was wrong. It wasn't that Roger was bad at the role (he was really great honestly), it was the cringey dialogue for the games. In the Sonic Colors: Rise of the Wisps, he was amazing in that, and I loved it. But if Roger were to ever be replaced, I would definitely want Max to replace him. And the next choice Ben. But I just think Max would be the perfect choice for him. And I agree with you about Ryan. He has aged. So, I feel like he doesn't quite fit the role like he used to. He does sound really good in Sonic & Tails R, but I wouldn't want him back. And, yes, I want Jason back so bad. If he can't voice Sonic, let him voice Shadow again. Kirk Thornton is good, but Jason is my absolute favorite Shadow as well. It's probably the reason why I like Sonic X so much is because of Shadow.

I think most of those voices definitely have potential to be a sonic voice, I honestly wouldn't mind. And I agree that roger shouldn't voice sonic again, I think the main problem with his voice back then was the voice direction, I've heard production for it was a nightmare back then. Also sidenote, I'm pretty sure roger said he wanted to retire voice acting at some point, hes been doing it for many years and has done so many other roles that it makes sense if he does want to retire, if that's just a rumour tho then oh well. I also very much agree that Jason should be shadow again, I honestly missed his shadow voice (Jet's too!). And lastly I think you shouldn't need to apologise for having an opinion, people who smite others just for having one in this community are dumb, this community is very opiniated and I think it should have more respect for others more. Although that will never come to fruition, one can only hope. Also unscripted videos sound fine to me, if you feel more comfortable doing it that way then be my guest lol

Sonic Advance 3 was the last time Ryan and the rest of the Dreamcast cast played their roles and when the 4-Kids cast start to voice for Sonic X and the games up until Sonic and the Black Knight

I agree. Josh Keaton was the voice I pictured being Sonic above any else in the past. Hearing Max and Sean's voices put on Sonic really did sway me a bit, but I still love the idea of Josh voicing Sonic.

Josh does do a good teenage voice, his work on Spectacular Spider-Man and various Spider-Man games prove that. So yeah, I could totally see Keaton voicing Sonic.

Great video Nicole. I agree with Jason. He was the PERFECT Sonic & Shadow. I've also seen suggestions for Yuri Lowenthal and James Arnold Taylor as Sonic but definitely Griffith all the way if you ask me.

James Arnold Taylor could work, I dunno about Yuri Lowenthal tho. His voice works best for either a mature teen like when he voice Ben in Ben 10 Alien Force, or adult characters like Peter in Spider-Man PS4. I don’t see his voice working for a 90s-ish extreme teen persona like Sonic.

Jason coming back as Sonic or even Shadow would be a dream come true. I was born before Ryan was replaced by Jason (2001) so Jason was the Sonic voice I grew up with and knew for years. If not Jason for Sonic then I would say Max Mittelman would be a great choice. His voice would be so good for a character like Sonic. Plus he voices Plagg from Miraculous Ladybug and I love Plagg.

I’d say Jeremy Levy could pull off a good Sonic voice. He’s the voice of Bumblebee from Transformers Cyberverse, so I know he can pull off a smart-aleck-y yet cocky voice and personality. His voice pitch slightly emulates Roger Craig Smith’s, in that it sounds a bit more adult than the more teenage voice that Jason Griffith gave for Sonic. It’s like Levy’s voice would sound like a younger version of Roger’s Sonic.

I'm hoping for MAx Miltenman to be the new sonic since his role as Ryugi/Skull (Persona 5) and Burton (Ninjala) which does has the sonic vive with those roles, i was going for Bryce Papenbrook for Sonic due to his role as ZIdane from Final Fntasy 9 (in Dissida Final Fantasy), Meliodus (Seven Deadly Sins) and Adrien/ Chat Noir(Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir) would work for him but then im reminded that he's the current voice of Silver so yeah their goes my dream voice

Personally, I’m on the Max Mittelman bandwagon. I think he sounds like the perfect Sonic voice. Ryan Drummond and Ben Schwartz are definitely close seconds though I do feel that Schwartz’s voice fits Movie Sonic more but if they do get Schwartz to voice Sonic, I’m down for that. I highly doubt that they’ll ever get Jason Griffith to play Sonic again. It doesn’t sound like it would be a good idea to me. And personally I didn’t like his Sonic voice. Yes, he did get better but I still wasn’t a huge fan. I personally think he does a better Shadow then he does Sonic. So overall, Max, Ryan, and Ben are my picks with Max Mittelman being my top pick.

I can talk alot about drummond hw had a Fantastic touch in 2000's but hearing him now he lost he's tap over time as age goes on, with the Jason Sonic Era which is Sonic Fairy tales Saga He has never lost his touch since 2010 up to this year especially with His known performance this year for Shadow The hedgehog, and it'd be awesome for him coming back as sonic but it all depends either way I still have my upvotes for Drummond Sonic. you have my discord and twitter if you want my further thoughts! 👍

Only Cindy Robinson confirmed she was gone, Colleen later said she's still voicing Tails (whether for the main series or the movie idk) but said specifically not in Sonic Prime since it's Canadian production. Maybe they are still doing casting but we don't know right now.

Max Mittelman is the best choice for Sonic voice actor I like his voice of Skull from Persona 5 and One Punch Man from One Punch Man. He did voice one character have the need of speed that is Transformers Rescue Bots ik some of you guys don't know that franchise is okay he did voice that character who love speed and that is Blurr like it is a amazing choice to get Max Mittelman as Sonic voice. Sean Chipbock voice Mishima and Kiro mhmmmm that is a good one to be honest two Persona 5 voice actor will be a good choice. But I want Max Mittelman to voice Sonic and Sean Chipbock his voice sounds like and should voice Silver not going to lie. I think Tom Kenny would be a phenomenal choice for Sonic, for those who do not remember or know who that is, he is the voice actor for Spyro in the reignited trilogy, along with the original Ripto's rage on PS1, plus we'd have someone who's had this particular kind of experience running the helm which is always a good idea when picking a voice actor, so Tom Kenny as Sonic the Hedgehog
