Wow, never heard the Maurice Gibb theory before. But surely, that would be quite easy to confirm or debunk???

The Answer is simple. Amelia Earhart, DB Cooper and Elvis are all taking turns playing this guitar in the Bermuda Triangle!! Sadly, DB was playing bass with them using Pauls Cavern Bass, but one of them turned that one in for the cash.... ;)

There's a 12 string electric track on While my guitar gently weeps that doubles the bass part during the bridge, buried in the mix. Don't know if it was this guitar or his original 12 string

Supposedly it was stolen right after the last us tour gig at Candlestick park, california. I would like to know where his 345 Gibson went to, maybe it got traded to get the red sg, is perhaps a Thought. Fairly recently Some Beatles detectives have determined pretty certainty that the Gretsch Tennessean was Destroyed of the Truck. Imagine that as big as they were in late 65, still strapping Guitars to the outside of a Vehicle.

I'm guessing Eric Clapton, right after he stole George's wife.
