THIS IS PERSPECTIVE❤️❤️❤️ Okay, this is my alt, for some reason youtube deleted my pin comment, so here’s a recap 1. This video is speculation on the religious THEMES in doors. What the devs said was that it wont be about a specific religion, not the concepts of God, Satan, Angels and Demons. Also, these beings are called CELESTIALS, hence why i even made the theory. I explained the explanations of these celestials through the inspiration they might take.

2. although people say this is too religious, Doors put in Limbo, the clear guardian angel statue with references to wheels as well, the moon in islam for guiding light, the reference to Hinduism from the 3 celestials, the crucifix, and referring to the architects as celestials in the first place which could mean angels, demons, gods, or devils, this means that they will follow this trend with more religious themes(not directly a religion), hence why they might make these architects be specifically inspired by certain angels and demons. I have a theory, and it kinda makes sense: In the painting showing all 3 architects it shows that Curious Light is in the middle and resembles balance between the other two architects. The was Curious light talks and tries to name the characters like in the rooms; this shows that he has no knowledge of where he is or where he was put or where he is. This ties to him having the decision to go onto one of the sides (Guiding Light or Mischievous Light) so maybe the Curious Light is actually the player and the player's mind, because its only the player and 3 other entities that exist in the rooms. Also, what if the Blue(Guiding) Light and the Red(Mischievous) Light resembled humanity of good and evil and the curios light which is the player, is living through his sins and must decide who he will be? That can explain the whole doors lore???

this theory makes a lot of sense. we can infer that "modifiers" aka mischievous light and curious light are actually teaming up. this can be seen when having a +193% modifier bonus. at that time, in the entrance of the rooms' painting, you can see that only the modifier and curious light exists on the painting and guiding light is removed. it was like guiding light was blotted out from their team because modifier gains control over the entire thing, not allowing guiding light to make a move. in other words, with a high modifier bonus, guiding light loses its ability to guide the player. so, based on power, we can infer that guiding light is the weakest, modifier is stronger than guiding light, and curious light is stronger than the two of them. and since modifiers can actually stop guiding light based on the modifiers "Gone Fishing" and "Soundproofing". First off: Curious light. What is the first word in his name? Curious. What is the definition of curious? Either eager to learn or strange. It implies the more common use likely, meaning that he doesn't know about anything outside of the rooms or backdoor. I also theorize that curious light is actually the most powerful light, but doesn't know how to, likely being lost when they were "young". A few things that support this are the appearances, being the most common, with 2 seperate parts, curious light's item, the barrel of starlight, being (arguably) the most powerful item, plus spacetime portraying him as the biggest. My theory is that we will somehow get curious light and guiding light to meet. Guiding light will teach curious light about their power, and they will team up to either get you out of this limbo or get rid of mischievous light.

my theory is that the reason why the crucifix doesn’t work on grumble, seek, and figure is that there are real enemies that can touch the physically player(not freaky) and the reason why it works on screech and giggle is that they don’t one shot us and another reason why it works in ambush, rush, eyes, and halt is that it’s our mind I think that they aren’t real that’s why the crucifix works on them but not the major entities theory 2 (following up theory 1) the reason why we see rush, ambush, eyes and halt is that the player has schizophrenia and the reason why might be what the hotel does to the body and another theory is about mischievous light. Mischievous light uses seek to take over the body of us since we are not chained to the ground and they save figure and grumble is because they can’t physically kill us unlike rush, ambush, halt, and eyes since my theory might be we have schizophrenia when we die they corrupt our mind.

Here’s a thing I want to suggest, a different inspiration: Dante’s Inferno. I know it’s probably been mentioned before, but think about it! In that story, the protagonist starts out in Limbo, a realm not of God, but of Satan, yet God is able to send one of his angels, Vergil, to guide the protagonist. It isn’t out there that it could be allegorical to Purgatory (not literal, it’s based on theology, not a literal reference), and it could be that the three interfering architects are the equivalents of angels; they guide us more or less, through the realms of Doors, Rooms, and the Mines. We’re in the dead center of an X Y and Z axis, and these three Architects are trying to guide us, but Seek, a demonic and corrupting figure, is trying to take us down and take over our body. That’s my take, anyway, wouldn’t be surprised if it’s been said before. Doesn’t have to be 1:1 to be referencing Dante, and it doesn’t need to be a specific faith to follow the machinations of a certain faith structure.

I would assume the reason that the untitled painting of the three architects have curious light as the biggest would be because it is located practically directly outside of the door to the rooms. The statue in the court yard is seek (floor 1 = limbo first level) seek is just chasing he’s weak (floor 2 = limbo second level he’s more stronger the lower the level in hell the stronger seek gets when we get to door 901 seek will be at his strongest destroying the floor door 1000 is leaving hell (the player is a visiter to hell but the entities are trapped in hell. EDIT: seek is able to morph his goo into hands or snakes jumping up from the drain in floor 2 hes is similar to a devil (i cant remember the devil’s name)

Ok I've seen curious and guiding light and curious light let's start with curious light at first he is very polite when we die but he starts kind of shifting wanting us to actually make it show me that he is nice but he is more on the impatient side and he doesn't really know much of these entities in rooms but once we look at back doors he knows about these guys more it'll give and he will give us a slice of a attitude showing that we're probably messing with something in the back doors aka the crystal so it takes off the list of him being Lucifer cuz we're messing with something that he's probably protecting for a long time but we are disturbing something but also in the rooms I'm not surprised he's trying to see if it's an escape considering I'm not surprised he is good but also mischievous like mischievous light and guiding light is still the same but then I have the theory of why the image is so big with the three lights maybe mischievous and guiding light are trying to make curiously on the same side trying to have another party to help them cuz it shows that curiously doesn't have any interest in that but seeing that is influenced by both of the lights both of the lights are trying to influence him of being something but I have another theory what if we have a white light like I know this seems stupid but the speculating we have two more or three more lights one of the I believe exists is the white light now idk why but I feel like a Whiteside exists but one of the others is probably a purple light cuz a felony glitch as we know he only spawns at the hotel but got removed I think but it makes sense that we have a purple light considering we know that usually colors signify the entities are part of the lights like seek screech and hide or halt but not surprised if he got corrupted is taking to a fact that we have two characters that are purple eyes and glitch no this is all I have for right now

Things that you need to know here. 1. First Of All, the guiding light is not an angel 2. Seek doesn't have the "mischievous light" glow, cuz even before the modifiers update, seek already got this red aura. 3. When the crucifix fails, it turns red, but that doesn't means that "mischievous light" is stopping the guiding light of banishing entities. 4. I GOT A CONFIRMATION ABOUT THE THREE ARCHITECTS AND SOME THEORIES. In Floor 2 (The Mines), the generator shows 3 colours of fuses. Blue, Yellow and Red. Does that seem familliar? Yep, it's Guiding Light, Curious Light and Mischevious Light. LSplash is hinting alot about the three architects, and one of those key things are in the generators in Floor 2. Also, just a theory, but in the Modifiers Trailer by LSplash starting at 0:32, that might be the theme song for Mischevious Light. Guiding Light lights up the factors to move on, Curious Light lights up the sub-floor exits (and I think coins too) and Mischevious Light lights up the death zones (as seen in Seek Dam when the flying Seek worms fly near you). Every entity with their specialised room that needs you to collect / correct something in a massive room, cannot be crucified. Grumble and Figure eat you for their jumpscare, while Seek gives you a static typed eye jumpscare. Another theory: If Queen Grumble was defeated by Seek, it means that the entire Grumble Species is gone. And since Seek has turned from a mini boss into a boss, maybe the other Grumbles come to help us at the middle / end of Floor 3, while Seek tries to hunt us down.

Actually, guiding light is the “she” that curious light is referring to, not mischievous light. This is because one of curious lights message is “The vacuum has no oxygen, and I’m told you need oxygen to survive.” The one that told curious light about that is most likely guiding light. Because one of the messages you get from guiding when you die to the firedamp is “You need oxygen to breathe... that's what I thought. Good to confirm”. And since guiding light is the one that told curious light about humans needing oxygen to breath this means that guiding light is also probably the one that told curious light about calling the entity Blitz.

another thing we can say is that, guiding lights power is stored through the crucifix, thus giving the ability to stun/ temporarily remove a entity. on the other hand there's curious light with the barrel/potion of starlight which grants you a lot of health. this is another confirmation showing that curious light is really the strongest since you get a shield whenever you drink the barrel of starlight + speed. however though we didn't get mischevious's light power, i doubt we are the ones getting but its the entities because it only makes sense the entities get it because both the light and the entities are against us.

Just wanna point this out: The theory about Curious Light being locked or stuck in The Rooms or The Backdoor is incorrect because Curious Light exists outside of these sub-floors, it is pretty much stated in the official DOORS wiki. As mentioned by Redibles in Discord, he said that Curious Light exists outside of The Rooms "etc, the entrance to The Rooms" which completely invalidates the theory of it being locked there (referring to Game Theory's second DOORS theory video), there is also a yellow rift "that can spawn when placing a Bottle of Starlight in the blue rift" which is related to Curious Light.

Maybe curious light is the devil, and he tries to lead us into the rooms with his light making it more mysterious, like temptation to go through the door. Maybe he acts like he is stuck in the rooms or backdoors but im not really sure. For the yellow rift, I feel like the bottle of starlight is the thing that makes it spawn with its effects, not actually curious light.
