Meant to make my own lol but yea alot of people don't know about it, but there aas an era he checked into rehab a few times and was writing in his own blood on his shoes and posting it. Then awhile after Royce did an interview where he spoke on Yela and how he always respected him as an Mc, but that his drinking just led to such a negative experience on tour and professionally that he couldnt anymore wit dude. sure if it's a Vlad interview or a Say Cheese or Rap Radar but it's out there. Point being Royce says that His DJ was on tour with them and yela was mouthing off to him and Royce spoke up and said "cool it bro, that's my n*gga you disrespecting" and Yela yelled "Well tell your N*gger to fucking listen to the man when he talks" I wanna say yela gave dude shit when Royce wasn't around, and homie called royce and royce addressed it over the phone but the facts are foggy. I do know it was Royces DJ and they were all on Shady at the time and there was a tour and Yela was disrespecting dude and throwing the N word around. It made headlines at the time...actually now that I'm writing novel here lol the memory sparked that headlines about it went around b4 royce was asked. Then this interview happens where they address the supposed beef between royce and Yela because Royce may have mentioned it in a bar on a new project or something, somehow it got out they had words tho. Then in the interview Royce states that it wasn't even the N word as much as it was the disrespect and lack of professionalism and accountability. He seemed to understand Yela has a black child and wife, and isn't a racist. Just the disrespect to flagrantly throw that word around and act that way tho was Royce problem. That being said this was quite awhile ago. Yela disappeared for a bit then the mountain dew freestyle dropped and the casket stuff...he slowly came back on the scene but his legacy was def tainted. Dude has such an orignal flow and lyrical ability. Song writing talent... plus did the country thing b4 it was the "cool" thing to do. Fucking shame.
