I play Hattori because I love the speed and the weapons while my sister plays Teros because she is big on power and defense. My playstyle has been described as a mosquito, I kinda hover around with movement since that's one of my strong points until I see an opening and then go in for small combos and attacks, occasionally going for longer strings. My sister is a wrecking ball as she just rushes in and has very solid stage control so she either contends or forces people out of ground and is 100% aggressive.

I think I would recommend scythe to a player that doesn’t like to memorize strings and combos but is better at reading the movement and doges of other players, even though that’s really hard.

I think because I was so badly beaten by a Petra when I first started, my playstyle was still forming and since my playstyle was still developing and I started using Petra since beforehand I wasn't beaten quite as bad I thought Petra may have been godly, so I decided to give Petra a try and my playstyle just became well suited for Petra and that is why even after watching this I didn't change my main.

yumiko is so underappreciated, lol unique hammer and bow stuff can be REAL helpful, I'd definitely recommend her at least for the low-to-mid kinda levels, the bow-trap can really catch people off-guard, at the lower levels, and hammer's pretty good too... I find that bow-dash-spam for running around + then sudden jabs at the enemy while an annoying strat, works pretty well...

This didn't help me find a main, but it did make me realize I do have a bit of a pattern with what I enjoy in a brawlhalla character. My top three are Sidra, Reno, and Ember, and all have a spacing weapon and a more well rounded/rushdown weapon. Thinking about picking up Yumiko and Magyar as well, but I need to get good with hammer

I got 3 mains, Artemis (mained her since my first day) for a fast paced, semi passive hit and run play style, then Magyar for a more slower and read dependent playstyle, with more concentration on how my opponents moving and dodging and what their reaction patterns are and then Mordex, whom I use more aggressively out of the three, full rush playstyle, dealing as much damage as possible whilst also taking the opportunity to punish and kill whenever I can

I've always had a pretty aggressive play style and I discovered Petra pretty early on and very quickly climbed in rank with her. I've tried other legends like Jiro, Mordex, and Jaeyun, but Petra is always my fallback and the legend I consistently do best with.

I was having a hard time picking between Yumiko, Kaya, or Val for my mains because they all have weapons I'm comfortable with enough to fight people. But after you explained the difference in certain weapons being played aggressively or passively, it REALLY well and it helped me narrow it down. I personally like spear and bow, so I been playing Kaya as a main for a while, got her to level 100. She has spear for calculated play and kills, while her bow offers aggressive play style in order to effectively build up damage to the opponent. Also spear and bow can be played either passive or aggressive.

sotix how long have you been playing. I know I started about a month ago and I main mirage. I'm not a god, but I've gotten juristically better. Some strings are Side light but push forward down light. Side light let go, neutral signature. Side light, neutral light. Neutral light, neutral air. Side light, down air. Hope this helps.

@@noobium5333 You know between every single attack theres at LEAST a 2 frame dodge window and up to like 14, right? Also, if you link a bridge to a starter it's deffinetly waaaay more than just 2 frames. You literally only have to dodge once and you have a perfect opportunity to punish.

I'm a Diana/Ada main. And thanks to your video, I am now certain it is the right pick for me. My playstyle is more like a harrasser. Jump in, do some damage and jump out before you get caught. That's why I also rather like to play 2v2, since I can leave the killing to my partner in crime. The only downside is that my friend is a little to enthusiastic and plays Ember. His combo's and side sigs are VERY broad.

I would say its more important to choose a main weapon rather than character. Because characters only have 6 sigs seperating them, therefore i think its better to just pick the weapon that best suits you, and then try to find your main of those legends with the same weapon

How to pick a main: Pick someone who looks interesting. Play them for a few weeks and see if you like their weapons. If you do, try some other people with those weapons. If you don't like their weapons, try someone else. Continue doing that until you find someone you like. Once you find someone, learn a few combos for their weapons. Play them and get better at the combos. Once you are good with them, you can learn more combos, or you can try other people with those weapons. By doing this, you might find another weapon that you find really fun, but never would have considered at the start. For example, I started out playing Hattori. I liked sword, so I tried Val and mained her for a while. I liked gauntlets, so I started playing Caspian alongside Val. I also played Lucien for a little bit. I decided to go back to Hattori and realized I liked spear, so I tried Mirage and Brynn. I liked scythe, so I tried Nix because I like blasters from playing Lucien. I like playing bow because I tried out Kaya and Ember. Currently I play Mirage, Nix, Caspian, Ember, Diana, and Brynn, with my best weapons being spear, scythe, bow, and katars. You can play just one legend, but at least for me that gets really boring after a while. I would recommend that you pick a few weapons that you like and play people with those weapons. This way you get more experience with different types of weapons and can counterpick easier. Plus, it is more fun to play different people and you will do better if you pick random :).

The best way to find a main is to play the 8 free legends if you are bored/haven't got anyone to play, and if you like one of them, purchase them from the shop. Not only is this a hands-on way to pick a fun legend, but also it will make you more familiar with a variety of weapons so if you ever decide to switch, you'll have a bit of experience with any new weapons you need to learn

I think mirage is a great character for passive players because spear and scythe can be long range if needed and both nsig and side sig are very fast and go very far on both weapons and down sig on both weapons can push away your opponent if they decide to attack first

Axe for killing and katars for damage building. I also like how axe is good for slower play which means if I want to slow down a bit I can easily.

Honestly. At one point, I played every legend to level 10. Doing so can give you a great idea of each weapon’s strengths and weaknesses. It also gives you an great idea of who you REALLY enjoy playing for all their skills. (At least until BM nerfs parts of it).

I love cannon so I want to play a cannon legend, which I do play two who are Isaiah and Sidra. However something is weird in those two with their other weapon not really being for me. Hey lil sun I have a question should I play artemis or mordex because I love scythe but I'm not sure witch is funner. And iv been playin brawl for 150 hours know. will it take over 500 to become decent at scythe?

Personally I hate facing lance so I’ve stayed away from Artemis because I don’t want to become part of the problem😂 I’d suggest mordex cause of his gauntlets. You can throw very nice combos and flashy plays with them like sythe. And mordex has both. If not go to nix, mirage or jiro

Scythe/Gauntlets are very read heavy I’m biased towards gauntlets but I still think you should play lance because it’s easier to pick up So Artemis

I played on my phone with the touchscreen for a while and mained Xull with ten attack. Now I'm on a computer with a controller and I'm maining Brynn, both because she's only 900 gold and because she feels like a very good character for getting back into the game. Spear and axe are both pretty basic, her sigs are all straightforward and satisfying, and I think she's pretty cool in terms of aesthetics. I'd love to get my boy Xull back, but for now I'm sticking with Brynn!

I’m new, about 6 months in & I’ve been playing Jiro a lot. I don’t play as often I have him over level 10 so I guess he’s my main. But lol I didn’t know he was the worst character in the game. I like his sigs and I got the Leonardo skin. I use Petra as well, Volkov and Koji. After watching this video I may consider trying Ember. You said something about her sigs that caught my attention so I’ll check her out bc I like bow on Zariel.

I’m not too skilled but I learn quick and unlearn after days of not playing but sometimes my reflexes will kick in and save me. I like to analyze and once I’m comfortable and have learned my enemies play style then I’ll go in aggressive. I’m going to rewatch your video with this in mind bc you did say something about being either passive and/or an analyzing kind of player.
