I think that tatch is THE perfect character in brawlhalla because he can zone with his sigs especially the blasters down sig and the sword nsig he can be really offensive have a lot of speed but low defense it's not a real problem with thatch because you can keep your opponent very far away from you and the signatures dose a lot of damage (sorry if there is some mistakes I dont speak English)

You CANNOT miss Petra for the Rushdown playstyle. 8 Strength with 7 Speed (stance takes away from dex). And as if to encourage such a playstyle, the devs gave her 4 defense i.e. if you're not rushing down to kill people, then you're just waiting to be killed. Makes her a really pedal-to-the-metal kind of Legend.

My take: if you want to play a all round jack of all trades characters with pure fundamentals like you play characters like mario yoshi pit and Palutena from smash shaggy jake and morty from multiversus arthur and thor from DKO and zetterburn and ranno from rivals of aether then play the following characters: bodvar if you want a pure all arounder rayman If you want more tricky set play add to it still begginner friendly but rayman is harder brynn for more long range and defensive and rangir for more offense Zoning characters are characters that want to Control space and fight at long range similar to ssf2 megaman rosalina and luma and absa the following are: thatch for more mid range agressive zoning diana lord vraxx yumiko vector azoth and queen nai Rushdown the oposite of zoning where you want to be agressive close range pressure offense and combos where you explode once you get close similar to fox lloyd (ssf2) ori and sein Hercules and wukong (divine kock out) and taz and batman from multiversus then play: Cassidy caspian tezca lin fei mako jae yun loki and red raptor Heavy weight: these tanks are slow do alot of damage and are hard to kill but gets comboed and can't catch faster characters without reads like bowser Superman ymir kragg then play: teros magyar barraza onyx and sir roland Bait and punish these are the guys who struggle at neutral due to them had to be patient and pray that your opponents make mistakes and then capitalize on that one mistake to do alot of damage or death like ssbu luigi ssf2 falco forsburn and izanami then play: isaiah fait zariel ezio and scarlet FGC where you have prior knowlage towards traditional fighting games and play that fundies to platfrom fighters like shaggy ryu terry hodan olympia project M Lucario and all of the combo devils characters tho in brawlhalla they don't play like street fighter or mvc3 they more like play like Darkstalkers so play: all of the great sword characters lmao petra and red raptor Swordies these fundamentals based archetypes wants to Control Space but they're not like zoners they still need to be at mid range and playing at that range spacing around their long range disjointed moves like marth clarien wonder woman thanatos (Divine Knock Out) and smash remix lucas then play: ada hattori reno dusk koji kaya and jhalla Stance characters usually pefer to play in each mode usually the faster but weaker and slow but stronger like reina from rushdown revolt cat dog from NASB the beavers from NASB 2 and the aegis from ssbu then play: seven Stage Control they do anything to get advantage either by zoning rushdown or setting up but they're not all arounders they need stage control and get Momentum to their favor or else they struggle like orcane from rivals april from NASB 1 and 2 rocko from NASB2 rob from ssbu and ezzie from rushdown revolt play: yumiko cross Thor and arcadia Set play they set up ledge traps kill confirms and all the zany shit from moves that are active or trap them but unfortunatley they usually had to play more patient because they're set up tools are not useful in neutral like browser jr in ssbu maypul in rivals of aether and zim from NASB 1 then play: xull arcadia volkov cross and kor That's all folks man that's a hassle Edit you don't need to play soecific playstyle on rangir and brynn they're all arounders you can have defensive long range ragnir and agressive close range brynn

Welp, at least my main (Kor) fits this archetype quite well. It can be suprisingly hard to approach with gauntlets since you nearly always come from the side with your attacks (if your opponents plays grounded, if they’re floaty you have a few more options). Hammer meanwhile is just really good for keeping your distance. Throwing out sidelights to threaten big hits while baiting the opponent into going in.

Nice, I actually came up with similar archetypes for a text guide I'm currently making. I'm glad your video helped me out myself though, props! Dependable - Both weapons have true combos and kill confirms, consistent but may be outpaced in damage compared to string weapons if they out read you ex: Ezio/Thor/Bodvar/Koji Mixup - Both weapons have combos for damage but no kill confirms, great options for many situations but may struggle killing; signature preference is key ex: Wu Shang/Ragnir/Caspian/Mako Polarized - Access to both a dependable and mixup weapon, best of both worlds but can be problematic when stuck with the wrong one for the situation; familiarity is key ex: Scarlet/Asuri/Jiro/Fait Gimmick- Often has a great excess in one particular aspect in the game but has terrible flaws that require workarounds in order to prosper in higher levels. ex: Queen Nai/Vraxx/Thea/Xull

You probably won’t see this but with mako there sig are good but are easily pushed so I would say there more of a rusher down with high speed. I am good and you probably know best but I have played them a lot and yes the sig are good but they have a lot of dead zones

Definitely Hattori is the easiest of the bunch. Also Koji is not so hard. But if you REALLY like scythe or katars or boots etc don't let their "hardness" mislead you. Play what YOU find enjoying the most. It will be the easiest to train and improve with.
