Thanks for the descent description & informative article on the life of Shaheed A.Rehman Peshawari. I actually belong to Peshawar & my old ancestral residence is just at walking distance from the old ..& antique house of this gentleman. I was curious & wanted to know all about our this national hero, who contributed so much on his behalf and on the part of Pakistani nation to the Turkish nation with his blood...that their president pays homage in his speeches to this hero.. Abdur rehman Peshawari . .......In the light of the foregoing would request the higher management / concerned authority of Kpk that his house shall be preserved & declared as the national heritage/monument for our new generation ..in this way both the generation of Pakistan & brother n country of Turkey would come more & more closer in the near future ..InshaAllah

To stop the confusion on what he was , his father was Kashmiri and he was born into Peshawar that’s why he had the name Peshawari . And he wasn’t Afghan either he was only a ambassador to Afghanistan but wasn’t Afghan , even his family were supportive of Pakistan’s independence, so no he wasn’t a full ethnic Pashtun nor was he Afghan .
