Why does Minnesota have all the best PBS shows

I remember this when it was first broadcast. I knew enough that a more definitive answer probably could not be shown on TV even if they know the skeleton owner's true identity (privacy purposes most probably). I guess the question today is that since just about every real human skeleton in use today will be traceable and documented as authorized for research or educational uses, would a modern day Dead Ernie be permitted today as a regular on a TV show like Newton's apple? Or would they be required to get the donor estate's permission?

Hmmmm...the bone trade in India (and elsewhere) is quite problematic. Many, perhaps most, "ethically sourced" skeletons are not. This episode is a time capsule, however. Many episodes of Newton's Apple were ahead of their time (see the greenhouse episode), but this one was not.
