I've been watching old clips of the OJ trial. There was a manager who worked at the Mezzaluna where Ron worked. She was on the stand and said that Nicole called the restaurant later that evening and when the manager picked up, she asked for Ron. She asked him to bring the glasses by her place. She could have easily asked the manager to set them aside for pick up the next day. Unless people really believe it was urgent for her to have her Mom's prescription glasses (which I highly doubt she needed them that night), the only real reason she requested Ron bring those by was so she could get some nookie. So her stupid a** in requesting he bring them by is what got him killed.

My heart still goes out to the Goldman family. There really is no recovering from something like this. Ron seems like he was a great guy. I imagine he’d have his own restaurant and a family of his own these days. I feel awful for him and Nicole. As a father of a son, my Stepdad sometimes talks about Ron’s father and has always wondered how he has been able to cope over what happened to Ron. It’s strange how we can never know someone but feel close to them. I really hate all the BS and gossip that’s still happening to this day about the case and all the people who victim-blame. Ron was simply trying to do a quick favor for a friend that night. He was so innocent. It’s just not fair at all. I hope the Goldmans are all doing ok these days. Thank you for sharing this!

@@AS-wj1du I was 13yo when Nicole and Ron were slaughtered. I vividly remember the majority of black people that I knew went along with the race theory. I was very confused by that bc I have a black mother and white Jewish father - although they split up when I was very little - before all of this, they both NEVER allowed us to discuss skin color in either household. We would get into serious trouble. And, tbh…this trial made me realize I was black - I really didn’t know bc again the hue of anyone’s skin wasn’t allowed. I of course didn’t watch the trial back then bc I was 13-14’ish in school, but I clearly remember the day the verdict was announced. My HS was even divided!!!! Teaching stopped to hear the announcement. All I can say is that the justice system allowed for all of this. I had to grow up and gain some life experience to conclude that there is all types of justice besides our prisons. Morally and ethically you reap what you sow. I understand that not to just black folks but to all types of people…OJS was a massive hero!!! There’s no way he did something like this!!! They have the wrong man!!! But now…it’s like, damn 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ He wasn’t framed. There’s no racial conspiracy. Yes the LAPD had many faults, but this case didn’t apply. I hope they successfully sue the cräp out of OJS estate 🤬

Ron was a causality that meant nothing. I think O.J’s murder of Nicole was premeditated. Ron was just a guy who just so happened to be the one delivering the glasses to Nicole for her mother. He sadly died because he just walked in at the wrong place at the wrong time. O.J probably thought he was having an affair with Nicole and that set him off. The scene was so brutal I don’t think he ever wanted anything to g9 unpunished.

@@georgialee6755 we can only guess but yeah I do believe Ron was never intended to die. I can’t say much for Ron’s character because I didn’t know the guy but he was openly delivering glasses which he didn’t even have to he could’ve waited until morning or another time but sadly I feel like him being a good natured person he wanted to do it because it was not that far out of the way from where he lived anyway. I think that’s what hits me hardest. The brutality of the crime scene, but also seeing the glasses just there. So much senseless murder granted if it was just Nicole that would’ve been sad but it being Ron and Nicole and just that crime scene was just it makes you wonder because that was just not another normal crime scene. I think somebody even OJ said there was a lot of blood in a interview he did where he was going over it like if he did do it.

It's not clear oj did it. Why wasn't oj covered in blood? Unfortunately the racists use their racism to cause some people to not care what happened because the other side said nothing when black people were being brutalised. Even so what happened was so evil and no one deserved that. Whatever they did in life they didn't deserve it. Ojs behaviour didn't help him look innocent but some people around Ron died horribly too so no one knows if he or Nicole was the target

Fred Goldman and his son Ronald Goldman were having a good time and they are all smiles and happy singing Old Time Rock N Roll and then 1994-1995 was hell for the Goldman family all b/c Ronald Goldman was delivering glasses to Nicole Brown and he lost his life that night*** After that it was hell sheer hell for the Goldman family*** They wanted Justice for their son who was at the wrong place at the wrong time and whatever Ronald Goldman did in his life it was Nobody's business. RIP Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman.

I was in a college classroom when things got very loud in the hallway and soon the instructor went out there, she had little choice considering the noises out there, and then came back in to say OJ had been found not guilty. The room went wild with some people jumping up and down with joy while others sat quite at their desks reflecting on what we just heard. It was so clear he did it based on the evidence. On the way home the DJ played Stings, "Fields of Gold" and to this day I think of those two people murdered by that man when I hear it. Justice somehow slipped through the families hands that day. Very sad. RIP Ron and Nicole.

Ron was a beautiful human being who I think was just being a good friend by dropping off Nicole's Mom's glasses. He was just in the wrong place when OJ struck. I did not watch the Bronco "chase". All that was was "Look at me! Look at ME! FEEL SORRY FOR OL STUPID!" I Think Al Cawlings was in it up to his eyeballs; maybe the fourth person at the murder scene. I did not follow the trial for 3 reasons: 1. Poor Ron was treated like corrlaterol damage__ like he didn't count. 2. Nicole was portrayed as a slut who "deserved it". People actually said that And 3. as soon as Johnny Cochran brought race into it, I KNEW OJ was gonna walk even if he jumped up midtrial & screamed. "I DID IT! PRAISE God, I did ot!"

OUTSTANDING POINT. It was the FIRST CASE ever reported over the internet; when the internet started, people BELIEVED EVERYTHING ON IT; so when OJ was arrested, he was automatically convicted of MURDER, in the COURT OF PUBLIC OPINION. However, in the end, the prosecution could only prove that HE WAS THERE, but NONE OF IT proves that he'd actually committed the murders. All you have is this... HE'S BLACK, THEY'RE WHITE... HE'S GUILTY!!! CASE CLOSED.
