He doesn't get enough credit for what he's done as a manager, outside Klopp, Pep and Poch he is easily the best manager in the league. If I was utd I would be seriously looking at him. He brings identity, a clear and creative approach to football and has a calming influence. He was the reason Klopp inherited such a good squad so I'll always be grateful to him for that

@@WhyAlwaysMe1888 In terms of our football on the pitch we most certainly went backwards.. fair enough . great first season , invincible.. second season pretty poor to be honest, during his last season the football was absolutely atrocious , we were abysmal under him in his final season save for Forrest and Rogic putting a few great performances but we spent more time passing the ball around our own 12 yard box for large parts of games and had lost to Kilmarnock and Hearts, in our first few games, toothless v Athens, struggles to score any goals. and never even got our season going until fringe player Ryan Christie scored that goal in the cup and solidified his place in the team.. his recruitment was awful too....if he had stayed any longer it would have got worse......i'm glad he's off....the football was tedious at times....

The league position is irrelevant, the league is already finished. So your winning a trophy for winning the tournament that comes after the league, not for finishing 3rd to 6th.
