He doesn't get enough credit for what he's done as a manager, outside Klopp, Pep and Poch he is easily the best manager in the league. If I was utd I would be seriously looking at him. He brings identity, a clear and creative approach to football and has a calming influence. He was the reason Klopp inherited such a good squad so I'll always be grateful to him for that

Hamish Munroe the play offs are a tournament. Everyone aims to finish in a play off position to qualify for the tournament. And the winner of the tournament gains promotion. The league position is irrelevant, the league is already finished. So your winning a trophy for winning the tournament that comes after the league, not for finishing 3rd to 6th.
