I know like noone will belive me but I am one of the first players of geometry dash. Or MAYBE the first player. But I doubt I was the first player. But I’ve been playing since 1.0. real storm was one of the ppl affected by teamhax iirc, which means a new account was created afterwards to move their levels back to a separate account and thats why their account id and user id are so high. according to cvolton their original user id is 17, which rules out one of the things mentioned in this video. it is likely that TouchGameplay was one of the people on the beta GD servers before the game's release, as their video was uploaded before the game was publicly released, so their user id wouldn't be stored anywhere on the main servers. Also good video, I can tell a lot of effort was put into this.

4:35 That menu at the end of the oldest GD Video is actually Apple’s old Game Center UI. Game Center is still around (mainly for achievements and such) but back then it was mainly used to connect to play with your Apple ID Friends on apps that supports it.

I think it’s the old Game Center menu for iOS. I remember playing on my mom’s iPhone 3 and there would be achievements and challenges for different games. (The menu was generated by the Game Center App) But I was just a kid. Maybe I’m wrong?

Alright, so here is the first player I know of who could potentially have played before Darnoc, idk his actual in game username or his player id, but I had a friend back when I was 6 (which was 2013), his name was Nicky. He had a sister named Sophie, and he might be the first player of gd. All I remember is that back when I got the lite version at this time the latest level was cant let go. He also only played Stereo Madness to my knowledge, he and a group of other kids just played that level to see how far each person can get. He played on a phone if I remember correctly.

there are some fun gems to find just by looking at user IDs of players. the old creator PIS who built several demon levels including hell and heaven has the user id of 316 meaning he was playing since 1.0. i think there was also a time when he was the top ranked star grinder. Another cool fact is Partition has the 10th oldest user id with a registered account actually, and played even before Jax
