The most significant messages in all the Holy Scriptures are when Jesus gave us His TEN COMMANDMENTS in the Old Testament. Those Commandments are a gift for our well-being and not some deterrent of free choice. For those commandments were not made for Him but for mankind. Jesus knows how life should be lived in harmony. For He created life and knows how it should be lived.

If Sabbath keeping wasn't important, this would have been an opportunity for Paul to say, "To you, I will preach on Sunday", but he didn't. Paul kept the Sabbath and the Gentiles coming into the early church did, too. But the Sabbath isn't what this thread is about or what the telecast is about. @leeliemens .. and there is your problem - do you really know who the Lord is, for there are many 'lords' and the majority of bible translations are not clear when rendering Psalm 110:1 eg. King James Bible A Psalm of David. The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. Note 1 Corinthians 8:5 & 6 For even though there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth, just as there are many “gods” and many “lords,” 6 there is actually to us one God, the Father, from whom all things are and we for him; and there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things are and we through him.

Are you 💯% positive you will go to heaven when you die? The Bible says God has already judged all men nearly 2,000 years ago and we were all found guilty. We are all sinners. Romans 3:23, 2nd Corinthians 5:19 God has already forgiven everyone of thier sins when Jesus shed his blood and died on the cross on our behalf. Colossians 2:13,14. Jesus paid the sin payment we could never pay. He died for you. He died for me. It is finished. All thats required for a sinner to be saved today is to hear, and believe the Romans 1:16, Ephesians 1:13 "gospel of your salvation". *Whats the gospel of your salvation? 1Corinthians 15:1-4 kjv:* Believe how Jesus died for your sins according to scripture Believe Jesus was buried with your sins Believe Jesus rose again without your sins according to scripture. God will reward believers according to our faith in the gospel or lack thereof. Romans 2:16. *What God is NOT doing today:* God is not sitting in heaven counting your sins and charging them against you. 2Corinthians 5:19,21 God is waiting for you to come to him through faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Put your faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. Romans 3:25. Be made justified. Romans 5:1 He has done all the work for your salvation. Grace and peace to you

There are two Beings who compose the God Family: God the Father and Jesus Christ. See John 1:1-14 for the clearest explanation on that topic.
@mikeyoung092 жыл бұрын
@@TomorrowsWorld John 1:1 is often used to prove that God consists of two Beings, but there are several problems with this interpretation. Firstly, for the last part of this verse, the Greek actually reads "God was the word.", or as the New English Bible translates it "what God was the word was." so it does not follow that the word was a second God. The word God (Elohim) appears twice in the verse in close proximity, so both instances must refer to the same God Being, not one to the Father and one to Christ. Secondly, the word for "Word" in Greek is "Logos", a word which appears over 300 times in the New Testament and never refers to a being or a person. Also in none of these instances is it translated "Spokesman". So what does it mean? It has a variety of meanings but chiefly "something said" by God or Christ or what God spoke (Strongs 3056). It can also mean "account, cause, or reason" and we also get the English word "logic" from it. John 2:22, "and they believed the Scripture and the word (logos) which Jesus had said." John 4:50 "So the man believed the word (logos) that Jesus spoke to him" The Bible is also the word of God because of the information which it contains comes from God. The capital letter "W" for "Word" is unnecessary, and has been added by translators who believed in the trinity. Logos can also mean Godly wisdom which also existed from the beginning (Proverbs 8:12, 22-23). The early English translations of the Bible before the King James version all use "it" rather than "He" and "Him" in John 1:2-4. In these verses "Logos" also refers to "life" and "light", which are not persons. The word was "with" God because God has eternal life residing in Him as it says in I John 1:1-2. "concerning the Word of life - the life was manifested, and we have seen and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us - that which we have seen and heard we declare to you..." So these verses are saying that God's word (logos) was manifested in the beginning with the Father but later was manifested to the apostles including John, through Jesus Christ. So God the Father spoke the word in the Old Testament and when the "word became flesh" in John 1:14, it was then Christ who spoke the word to the apostles. This is confirmed in Hebrews 1:1-2 "God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past by the prophets has in these last days spoken to us by His Son.." God in verse 1 is clearly God the Father who is contrasted with His Son (Christ) in verse 2. So what did they speak? - the Logos or word of God. So this shows that it was God the Father who spoke to the fathers (Abraham Isaac and Jacob) and was thus the God of the Old Testament. God the Father also created everything in Genesis 1 by speaking, i.e. speaking the word (Logos), which He did at the start of each of first six days of creation. This explains the meaning of John 1:3 as "All things were made by It (the Logos) i.e. by God speaking the word."

The following is but a sample of Scriptural testimony which confirms the relationship, and role of the Father and His Son. "But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him." I Corinthians 8:6 To us Christians there is but "One God" (Mal 2:10) the Father "Of whom are all things" The Father is the source; He is the originator of all things, and we in Him (Acts 17:28), and one Lord Jesus Christ (John 13:13) by whom are all things, (by whom all things are made John 1:3) So all things are made by the Father, through the Son, and for the Son. "For by him [Jesus] were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:" Colossians1:16 Jesus confirms that without the Father He can do nothing, “I can of mine own self do nothing: ...because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.” John 5:30 In the beginning the Father said to His Son: "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness..." Genesis 1:26 "For He Spoke and it was done" (Psalm 33:9) And it was done by His Son! The conclusion, therefore, is that Jesus and the Father are one, in likeness, in mind, and in object, but not in person. The oneness of the Father and His Son is that of two distinct individuals having the same thoughts, the same purposes, the same attributes. The Father and the Son were one in creating the earth, and one in the devising and carrying out of the plan of salvation. Not a thought does one have, that is not the thought of the other. Their unity in creation is shown in Gen. 1:26. This union of the Father and the Son serves to explain why the Hebrew word which is rendered "God" is in the plural.

This gets very confusing! When Jesus was on this Earth "in the flesh", he Prayed to his Father in Heaven! And Jesus NEVER told humans that their prayers were to be directed towards himself (Jesus) but specifically taught humans to pray TO THE FATHER IN HEAVEN. Plus, Jesus always did the will of his Father in Heaven. And indicated there were some thinks that "only the father knew"! So, you can surely see why many folks are confused on this point! My Pastor thought that: "Perhaps the Father drew the Plan, and was the Supervisor. While Jesus was the workman who did the actual work of Creation?" I'm convinced that there are many questions we will have to wait a bit longer before be get a definitive answer!

The Devil had the power of Death until Yeshua came along and took it from him rendering him Powerless. Revelation 1:18 I Am and the living One; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades. John 5:21-26 For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son also gives life to whom He wishes. For not even the Father judges anyone, but He has given all judgment to the Son, so that all will honor the Son even as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him. 1 Corinthians 15:54-57 But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, “Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. Hebrews 2:14 Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, Revelation 20:12-14 And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.

The Bible is clear that there is only one God (Deut. 6:4) and Christ repeated this in Mark 12:29. He had just mentioned (verse 26) that the God Who spoke to Moses was the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob. There is no indication here that Christ was referring to Himself, but only to His Father, and the scribe to whom He was speaking recognised this (verse 32). If Christ was also God, would not this make two Gods? This is fully confirmed in Acts 3:13 where Jesus is said to be the "servant" of the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers (also in Acts 5:30). The only conclusion to me is that the God of the Old Testament is the same as the God of the New Testament Who was the God of Jesus, namely God the Father.
@glorytalbott79502 жыл бұрын
Elohim is a plural Hebrew word meaning "gods" and it is used in Genesis 1:26 where it says "Let US make man in OUR image." You got it-two Gods in One. Yet one family name and character. Like me and my husband are two Beings but both bear the same family name (our last name). Also notice what Jesus Christ says in John 17:21-" that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me."-He again uses "us" and offers us to be with them as part of the God family. In Jewish religion, they teach one god (since they do not believe Christ is the Messiah). And mainstream Christians teach a three in one god (Trinity). But true religion and Paul talk about God the Father and Jesus Christ. Go to your New Testament and look up at the beginning of every chapter. Paul greets in the name of God the Father and Jesus Christ over and over again. If God were one, why does he do this? If God were three why would Paul leave the third person out. We rightly believe the Spirit is the power of God and not a personage. It would better be translated "it", instead of "him". But because of words that are feminine, masculine, and neutral, it is translated in the masculine. Like in Spanish and German they use feminine, masculine, and neutral for describing nouns, it does not necessarily mean it is male or female. Consider in German, girl is das Mädchen (das is neutral yet girl is feminine in real life). The playground is masculine, Der Spielplatz-and yet it is not really male. Understand? There is much more on the tomorrowsworld.org about it, too, if you do a quick search on the subject. I found this that may help.... www.tomorrowsworld.org/magazines/2004/january-february/what-is-god-really-like
@mikeyoung092 жыл бұрын
@@glorytalbott7950 To me two Gods in One is just as much a mystery as the trinitarian three Gods in One. Is God one person or two persons? It cannot be both. The fact that Elohim is a plural noun is valid, but the concept of plurality in Hebrew is different from the way we define it in English. It is well known that when Elohim is used in the Old Testament, in nearly all cases it is associated with a singular verb, especially when used in the term "LORD your God" (YHWH Elohim). This is not possible in English where plural nouns have to take a plural verb. So in Hebrew plurality can be any number of 1 or more, whereas in English it has to be a number of more than 1, a subtle difference. In other words, plurality also includes the possibility of singularity. The reason for the "Us" terms in the Bible such as Genesis 1:26 is a matter of dispute among biblical scholars. Some believe it refers to the "plural of majesty" and some say God was speaking to the angelic realm. In this verse Elohim must be singular as only One person would have spoken the words which follow. Verse 27 then says that "God created man in "His" own image (not "Our" own image which it would be if Elohim was plural or more than one)". As the reason for these "Us" terms are rather unclear, it is probably best not to base doctrine on them. Acts 3;13 is a much clearer verse which shows that it was God the Father who was the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob who was therefore the God of the Old Testament. So in Exodus 3:6, the God who appeared to Moses is described in exactly the same way "I am the God of your father - the God of Abraham, the God of Issac, and the God of Jacob. Moreover in Exodus 6:2-3 it says "And God (Elohim singular) spoke to Moses and said to him 'I am the LORD (YHWH)'. I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob, as God Almighty, but by My name LORD (YHWH) I was not known to them." This is a reference back to Genesis 17:1 which says "When Abraham was ninety-nine years old, The LORD (YHVH) appeared to Abram and said to him 'I am Almighty God; walk before me and be blameless'". So the following conclusions can be drawn from these verses:_ 1. The God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob was the God who appeared to both Moses and Abraham, who was God the Father as shown in Acts 3:13. 2. God's name in Exodus 6 was revealed to Moses as YHWH, which means "the Eternal One" (not two) , so cannot refer to Christ. 3. The same God is referred to as "God Almighty" in Genesis 17:1, so this term also cannot refer to Christ (see Revelation 21:22 which confirms this).

@@adamwoulfe9875 Other Old testament verses which mention the "God of our fathers" are Deut.26:7, referring to the God who brought the Israelites out of Egypt, and II Chron.20:6, referring to the God who drove out the inhabitants of the land, which must be the same "God of our fathers" as in Acts 3:13. Most of the scriptures which refer to no-one having seen God are simply saying that God is invisible (Colossians 1:15 and I Timothy 1:17), rather than trying to explain which God if any was seen in the Old Testament, and which One wasn't. Only spirit beings can see Spirit, so your mention of Revelation 22:4 correctly refers to a time when we will be spirit in the resurrection. Also the Bible says that no-one can see God in His full glory and live (Exodus 33:20). The reference in I Corinthians 10:4, when taken in context, is obviously an analogy between the Israelites crossing the Red Sea and Christian baptism. So just as the Israelites were baptised into Moses, Christians are baptised into Jesus Christ. Verse 11 shows that these things were examples, or types (the Greek word is "typos") of New Testament fulfilments. Thus Moses was a type of Christ and not Christ Himself. So the word "followed" in this verse is referring to the fact that Christ followed later as antitype, whereas God actually "led" the people out of Egypt. Also, God was actually in a cloud when He led them out of Egypt and not a Rock. In John 8:58, where Christ is said to be "I AM", this should be translated "I am He" as in John 4:26 where Christ is saying that He is the Messiah who was to come (verse 25). So John 8:58 should be referred back to verse 56 where Abraham rejoiced to see "Christ's day" which he knew would eventually come, and was not the time when Abraham lived. "I AM" is not meant to be some type of divine title (the Capital letters give the wrong impression), but just refer to the fact that Christ was the Messiah prophesied to come.

Jesus never claimed to be God - he would never have been so presumptuous as to claim equality with his heavenly Father. The scriptures are clear though Stuart Wachowicz misrepresents the bible and presents a false doctrine. Some 40 bible verses confirm that Jesus is the Son of God. Many false preachers misrepresent John 1:1-3 because they use a corrupt translation where the context of the original Greek is distorted giving a contradictory and grammatically incorrect rendering. Basically, the deception false teachers present is that the Logos is the same as God - even though they don't explain how the Logos can be with God and at the same time be the same person as God. The original Greek uses two terms in John 1:1, Theon and Theos which the majority of bible translators don't distinguish as having different context - both are rendered as 'God' which results in a grammatically incorrect and contradictory statement. There is a reason why Theon and Theos are not identical - the term Theos is qualitative in the context of John 1:1, meaning 'god-like', 'divine' or 'a god'. Clearly, Jesus is the Logos (Word) and the bible teaches that Jesus is the foremost representative and "Faithful Witness" of the 'Most High' - Revelation 1:5 & 3:14 Luke 1:31 & 32 states that Jesus will be called 'Son of the Most High'. Psalm 83:18 KJV declares .. That men may know that thou, whose name alone is Jehovah, art the most high over all the earth. From the so-called 'Old Testament' (Hebrew scriptures) - Jehovah identifies himself as the Almighty God and at Exodus 3:15 stated to Moses that this is the name that He will be know by from generation to generation. Then God said once more to Moses: “This is what you are to say to the Israelites, ‘Jehovah the God of your forefathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.’ This is my name forever, and this is how I am to be remembered from generation to generation. Jesus is the Son of the Almighty God, Jehovah. This is the God that Jesus worshipped and he directed all worship to his heavenly Father. - Matthew 4:10 Then Jesus said to him: “Go away, Satan! For it is written: ‘It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service.’” Reference Deuteronomy 6:13 & 10:20 James Moffatt is one of the few bible translators that offers a correct rendering of John 1:1 that does not contradict itself and is grammatically coherent. THE Logos existed in the very beginning, the Logos was with God, the Logos was divine. hermeneutics.stackexchange.com/questions/56180/is-moffats-translation-of-john-11-representative-of-the-original

James 1:13 says that God cannot be tempted, yet Hebrews 4:15 says that Christ "was in all points tempted as we are yet without sin." So if Christ had been "fully God" whilst on the earth, He would be unable to sin, just as God is unable to sin. So the statement that Christ was "fully God and fully man" whilst on the earth is self contradictory. It is like saying a glass can be full and empty at the same time.

No one can be saved unless they confess that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He could have been God's equal partner but he declined this and wanted to remain the highest universal authority after God. They both practice and teach righteousness which is a spiritual code based upon the true nature of the universe and that true nature will be put to the test when Wormwood, again, passes by the Earth because that true nature holds our salvation. The many statements that affirm Jesus' wonderful status as God's right hand should not eliminate the One True God out of our Deity else we are not guided by righteousness.

Here is an article that explains the background and gives scriptures accordingly: www.lcg.org/bible-studies/god-really-trinity As for Jesus being created, here are a few scriptures to highlight why we teach that Jesus was not created, but with God from the beginning: John 1:1-3; Hebrews 7:1-3 - These passages are speaking of Jesus Christ... "having neither beginning of days or end of life..." Additionally, Jesus Christ, as the video mentions, was the God of the OT (1 Cor 10:4; Heb 11:25-26), whose name is YHWH, or The Eternal One.

@@TomorrowsWorld Firstly thankyou for your reply, my point is Jesus himself stated he is the Son of God so therefore he was created, he is the very first creation since God is eternal and has no begining and no end. If Jesus was with God from eternity past then he would not be sent by the Father but rather come at his own volition. At the begining means the begining of the creation week. This means Jesus was created first, then the Angels, then the Earth and stars ect through Jesus (called the Word at this time) john ch 1 v 2 explains this clearly as it states he was with God in the begining but not for eternity past. God has a personal name Yehovah, Jesus name is the Word in the begining and was changed to Jesus according to his changed station when he became flesh and lived among us. True Yhwh is eternal but as we see Jesus died on the cross, the Father cannot die. I see you wrote Yhwh at the end of your comment and confused this the Fathers name with Jesus, you are still skirting the trinity which is a doctrine born of babylon and adopted by egypt and every other empire that came after them. You need to stop teaching this doctrine as it is driving away disciples in confusion, Yehovah is the only true God and we can praise Jesus because he is the chosen annointed one who rules Heaven and Earth in Gods name.

Here is an article that explains the background and gives scriptures accordingly: www.lcg.org/bible-studies/god-really-trinity "? Also, about Who YHWH was, here is an article of what we teach based on many scriptural references: www.lcg.org/bible-studies/who-was-god-old-testament Many people falsely believe God the Father was the God of the Old Testament, and therefore, YHWH, but the Bible clearly teaches that the One who "emptied Himself" and became Jesus Christ, was the God of the Old Testament. Please read the article and look up the Scriptures, it will provide many Scriptures showing this is the case.

The word "Archangel" means "Chief of the Angels." But many suppose that since the Lords host are created angels, then the same must hold true for the Archangel. But the leader of the Lords Host is Christ; Notice Revelation 19:14-"And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean." This verse teaches us that Jesus is the Head/Chief of the Lords Host; and the following is just one verse of many which confirms that Jesus is not created. Notice Colossians 1:16: “For by him [Jesus] were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:” From this verse we can be sure that Jesus created “all” things in Heaven, and since it is nonsense to suggest that He created Himself, the only true conclusion that one can arrive at, is that He is not a creation. There are also many who dispute the fact that Jesus might ever be referred to as an Angel, those who do so need only study Revelation 8:3-4 to see otherwise. Notice: “And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.” Revelation 8:3-4 This angel is Jesus, as Jesus is the only mediator between God and man, therefore it can only be Him, as no-one else can offer up the prayers of the saints to the Father, and this, in the Most Holy Place of the Heavenly Sanctuary, where the High Priest only is permitted. The very moment that the thief comes is found in Revelation 8:5 “And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.“ This is when Jesus finishes His ministering the Most Holy Place of the Heavenly Sanctuary; He then comes to harvest the earth.
