Group 2 Early this year my house caught on fire however, when the fire got my altar of Lilith it stopped. I live with someone who told me it was on fire, I didnt even know. What is weird, I used to not do working in the morning, but Lilith said pray for protection. And so I did...didn't even know the house was on fire and it blew out on a day with high wind gusts. There is minor damage to the house, but completely still liveable. The person I live with told me they had no idea how it went out, logically my whole house should have burned down. I am initiated into IFA , while pulling down my guardian of my head it was said to be that Oya is my guardian therefore making me a child of Oya. I didn’t know much of her and tried to find as much information on her. It is hard to find her secrets online and can be found from the elders . Oya is a warrior diety who embodies the element of change, she is the owner of the marketplace such as business dealings, a favorite wife to Shango and a queen. There are songs who call her the bearded lady, the woman with many scars. She is the first breath someone takes, the ignite , the spark, the wind, the tornado, the guardian of the entrance of the entry of the cemetery protecting the souls there from evil to enter. It has been heard her and Shango are in the storm riding together in the storm causing the lightning , claps, and wind. Shango admired her because she was fearless and strategic, Shango was in war for many days and was extremely tired , he came to Oya’s house exhausted. She is a fierce and possessive guardian to her children.
