Valid Question, for the show to work you need a few things... People who are willing to be on camera, people that know each other enough to have banter, and that are competitive enough to want to win., as well having roughly the same knowledge of things as each other. I had done some tests with friends but I couldn't find enough people that fit all 3, just to even do 1 series! I took the decision (thinking that once it got off the ground finding people would be easier) to invest time and some money in getting the right people on to begin with. I am in the process of starting to plan Series 2, and it is much easier having made that decision. Slightly unconventional but it has allowed it get off the ground quicker, and more importantly, the integrity of the quiz is able to stay the same. It also means i can do targeted episodes to different groups of people, rather than the same people each episode with same question subjects. Its much harder work but we are getting there! Glad you're enjoying the content and there will be more to come!

Lovely format. Hope we'll see a second season! I had some thoughts about the format and show, perhaps you've already thought about all this as well and discounted it but figured it couldn't hurt to give my 2c. - Putting the question doublers only in the last 5 questions of the show still gives equal odds but makes the end more tense. You could assign the question doublers to 2 questions only after the first 5 have been asked. - The questions are largely based on geography and British culture; countries are often the answers. It'd be cool to have some more family feud or 8oo10c-style questions mixed in, such as opinion polls, surveys, ... (e.g. top 10 pets, top 10 fears, top 10 consumed beverages, etc.) - It would be more exciting if the tension answer cost the contestants more or a wrong answer isn't penalised as much; now there's not much difference between the two.

Thank you for your kind words and your points are valid, I shall Elaborate a touch on your thoughts… 1) This is an idea being floated about, it does make it difficult on episodes of 4 people, or 6 people, as it screws with the whole 2 rounds of 5 format, I’m still thinking of a way to get round this. 2) You are right, mainly because “facts” like population etc by not being opinion cannot be debated (unless I write the answers wrong!) - I am considering allow this a little bit in series 2, I do try of course to make not cross over answers where possible. Each quiz is tailored to the guests, you’ll notice in episode 3 for example where computer games, pop culture etc was requested there weren’t so many, for things like sport I can also do a quiz without any geography questions, more geography “caveats” 3) The current scoring is something that’s been honed for a few years. The reason why it’s set like this is that someone winning must give a correct answer, there have been games where the person winning (when scoring was different) could in theory just give a couple of incorrect answers to take the game. So far (touch wood) the scoring has been relatively close, and tight, someone I don’t think has taken an episode before the last question totally. I am always looking to make things better so I do very much appreciate all feedback, and I’m really glad you are enjoying the content. Ian

Love the format of this quiz! My only change would be the incorrect answers. For example this episode Jack said Chicago, a truly incorrect answer, this should be greater deduction of points than an answer that is correct but is 14th or 15th or i.e out of the tension answers but still a ‘valid’ answer.

So the scoring has been slowly honed over the last 3/4 years. You are right of course, I want to punish those that given an incorrect answer, but those that fly too close to the line should be deducted more for trying “to be clever” so to speak. For someone to find out they are wrong before I’ve even got to answer 6, especially when trying to get answer 10, is the exact reaction we all crave! 😃 Certainly looking at some tweaks for series 2, hope you’re enjoying and more will come very soon.

These are always fun. Love Gee. The London tourist question seemed iffy to me, theres a queue outside it every hour its been open since it first opened. I did google London eye yearly riders and their site says it gets 3.5 million riders per year so it should have been like half way up the list but wasn't on the list at all. Says 1,600 riders per hour can use it.

Maybe do a TripAdvisor question for London or UK tourist attractions. Top 10 rated, or top 10 with the most reviews on trip advisor/Google maps which could correlate to attendance even for non tracked places like Buckingham palace. Just ideas. Still a good episode, a couple of dodgy answers out of 60 isn't that bad. ​@@Tens10n_game

Hong Kong isn’t a country, it’s a special administrative region of China which was excluded from the list. Taiwan is a country but not a UN member state.
