Someone did a test with ai managers to see if stats, team or formations were more important. Based on the limited results, formation i.e. the managers with the more meta tactical styles mattered most. Maxed out manager stats couldn't save a bad team. But a zero out manager stat manager with a good style, could save them from relegation.

Hi BTN, I’ve been searching for a video quite similar to this, I need a video on how to read opposition scouting reports, basically how they play out of the back, how they press, the defensive line and line of engagement, etc I can’t seem to get this from the opposition analytics, or is it a problem with how the data hub is set up?? It’s the way it’s set up. Ideally you want to focus on less info. Thats always better instead of turning into Guardiola trying to counter every conceivable situation. Use the scouting report to identify their build out pattern, it will reveal potential weakness and study that against your own build out pattern so that you know your own weak points. Sometimes though even the best of prep can go out the window, which is why I recommend just those few
