Sadly not. I can't stand the Tories, but I really hope they sort themselves out, and quickly. Otherwise Reform will be the de facto opposition next election. We need left and right wing for a healthy political system, but when the parties are lead by extremists like Corbyn on the left or Liz Truss on the right, it creates instability for us all.

Why did Rishi Sunak leave the D-day ceremony early? Because he didn't care about British culture, heritage and history at heart. Why did he celebrate the Indian Diwali in the 10 Downing Street with his Indian fellows? Because he cared about the Indian culture and heritage. Only indigenous British will be loyal to UK wholeheartedly, it is not racism, it is a matter of loyalty
@sailorcrystal3 ай бұрын
@@yipzoe3865 While an indigenous British MP would most likely have enough sense to clear his/her schedule and prioritize D-Day, an argument can be made that previous born-and-raised British prime ministers (e.g. Johnson, May, Cameron, Brown, Blair, Major, etc.) betrayed the UK politically. We might just need to wait for a new generation of MPs who would wholeheartedly prioritize and take pride in the UK.

Net zero, and GB Energy along with it is an impossible pipe dream. We do not have renewable energy sources that are available 24/7 whatever the weather or if it is daylight or night time. We do not have the battery technology to run a whole country at night in the winter when it is cold but windless. We have to have an entire back-up secondary system which currently is gas fired power stations but in future should perhaps be small modular nuclear power stations. Electricity from wind is still more expensive per kilowatt hour than power from gas, even with giving these companies huge subsidies. In fact, would be far cheaper to just run the back up system and scrap the windmills and solar panels and then electricity prices would fall. As China and India build more coal powered stations, our proportion of CO2 contribution will fall as a percentage anyway. Is it worth crippling our country with huge costs, losing jobs from North Sea and Gas and having the most expensive power in Europe just to virtue signal about a less than 1% decrease in CO2 which globally doesn't matter a damn?
