While I appreciate the heart and sentiment of this song, and while we need to preach the gospel in our own country, the most neglected mission field is not America. A simple google search will show this to be true. Ask any missions / world evangelization specialist and they will show this to be true as well. That being said, there is no question that those of us who live in this great nation must evangelize our own families, communities, states and nation. That is why our nation is full of thousands and thousands of churches and Christians everywhere. The problem is, we are not doing what we are supposed to do.
