All countries should have an agreement once you pick a squad to give nearly every member of the squad 30-60 minutes a game and the goalies 60 minutes each. Each side to bring on 3 or 4 subs every 30 minutes. That way everyone gets a workout, they can play at full pelt knowing they'll only be playing a maximum of 90 minutes in 2 games. The quality will be better as they'll know they've got 30 minutes to impress and we get to see every player and the result should be an afterthought. Who cares about winning a friendly? It's about giving the players an opportunity to get used to their roles.

Completely agree, if they want to start their best 11, play them in the first 30 or 45, and then sub them out so that you DONT cause injuries since it’s only international friendlies. With the limitations of players called up, and not using EVERY player at your disposal is cruel towards the unused players on the bench. Reasons why players like Ben White don’t wanna go to the national team, wasting their time sitting on the bench while they could instead prepare for their club teams. For clarity, im not saying they shouldn’t play their best players, I’m saying they should LIMIT the playing time so that ALL players have the opportunity to display themselves since they’ve earned it by getting called up to the team.

Foden has never had a decent game for England. In fact, most players in any Southgates sides are reduced to average by his negative defensive sideways and backwards style. England won't be winning the Euros, and Southgate won't be going to Man United.
