⁠@@christopherreyes7475 Pete Carroll was the reason we were struggling in first place. He called the same scheme for the past 10 years. Other teams caught on and he put all of our players at a disadvantage before the first snap was even played. It got so bad that, me a Seahawks fan could successfully predict our plays before we run them. If I can do that, then a defensive coordinator who get paid millions sure as hell can too. I think the hawks will be a lot better with a new scheme. Also additional evidence that’s supports my idea is, if Pete Carroll still had it left in the tank, then why hasn’t he been hired by another team yet?

The truth is, the Shanahan system is spurred by a zone run blocking scheme. CMC didn't boost the 49ers rushing offense, they've had that, it's just that CMC gets 99% of the playing time.

The Rams had Aaron Donald and let the Lions win their first playoff game in 30 years. They will find their sophomore slump and McVay will be questioning his desire to coach again by the end of the season. The Cardinals did better than anyone expected last year under first-year head coach PeeWee Herman they will build on that chemistry but yet again find themselves fighting the Seahawks at the bottom of the division. The 49ers will once again sweep the NFC West because they are simply several tiers better than any team in the NFC.
