This Guards team scares me because their record against top contenders is not good. Vs houston (1-4), ny (2-4), kc (5-8) and just ok vs ​​baltimore (4-3) and detroit (7-6). also in the nl.. they have a losing record vs. atlanta (1-2), la (1-2), milwaukee (0-3), san diego (1-2), arizona (0-3), but are mysterious 5-1 vs the mets and phils

The regular season means nothing when your in the playoffs. Teams play baseball way differently in the playoffs!

@@chubbawubbahubb24 based on how they played the last 2 vs houston's b squad i beg to differ. their approach at the plate only works when they manufacture runs as they dont have the hr power that other teams do on a reg. basis. id like to see them limit their starters to reduce 1st inning runs so as to not play from behind because teams like houston eat bad pitching alive. maybe start with an opener and bring your starters in for the weaker part of the lineup. dont let guys go more than twice through the heart of the order either. lively cantillo williams all scare me vs top tier lineups. bibee and boyd in gm 1-2 and let the other guys pitch long relief with openers the rest of the way if they make it.

@@titansrule72Texas had a 12-17 regular season record against the teams they played in in the playoffs last year. Don’t read too much into it. Playoffs are a crapshoot and no matter what the winner is going to get a lot of luck. Embrace it

@titansrule72 I think starters should go about 15 batters then ride bullpen especially with days off in-between games.
