Crawford’s argument is flawed. Canelo started at 147 and has fought at 154, 160, 168, and 175. Crawford started at 135, has fought at 140, 147, and 154. Crawford is only focusing on Canelo’s move to 175 by it why not talk about his move from 160 to 168. Everyone has that weight class that proves to be too much. It happened at Canelo’s 5th weight class. I’m not a fan of Canelo and I think the fight vs Crawford is just a money fight. People will watch. But I think Canelo vs Benavidez and Crawford vs Boots or Ortiz are better more competitive fights.

Imma keep it a buck, I’m a canelo fan. But both Crawfords and canelos careers are basically the same, they both fought older guys who weren’t in their prime and they both cherry picked a lot. That being said canelo took way More risks than Crawford to the point of being a fighter who debuted at 140 and has fought all the way up to 175. Plus canelo has the better resume by far.

But if it’s natural already he won’t have to loose any muscle at all.. that’s why Haney felt played with Ryan bc that’s EXACTLY what PED’s do for you, help you retain muscle mass while cutting your weight on top of enhancing your other abilities. Although PEDs OR NOT, he still couldn’t block the left hook so it would’ve been night night anyways.. but back to Crawford… if he’s smart like I know he is, he won’t take another fight like Canelo will do In May. And he’ll start training now and getting used to the weight now, then take a small rest family vacay mid fight. Then come back for fight camp with that weight still on and train his ass off. He wouldn’t be so sluggish and tired from the extra weight. But if he doesn’t start now and waits for fight camp then it will be a long night for him.. not saying he still won’t pull it off but it would be harder
