Congratulations on getting a Razor. That thumb switch was just introduced. I have 2 Combat Troodons made in January 2023 and both have that wider button. The Combat Troodon I have that was made November 2022 does not have it. I agree with you that firing seems easier. That new button is 1mm wider than the old one.

I like the glass breaker. Not because it is practical in any way what so ever but because it matches all the ridiculous features of the knife.You dont have to be a Operator to use a tool like it.

This was a pretty good review. Nice selection. I have the exact model . For those saying its a stupid knife design, its a "razor" and a very nasty one indeed. It's not supposed to have a pointed tip.Aside from utility, Razors as defense tools are meant to slice, slash ,and severely lacerate. Not stab or carving wooden trinkets.

I am a firm believer that if you want to have the absolute quickest access to a knife you will never beat the speed of a fixed blade. Then again I also do see an otf as being a very functional edc tool.

I like that Marphione blades but here in EU I carry mine Ultratech Momento More but I'm carful its one side blade and its safe but iligal it's so so stupid loves and its so good and practical . Also friend has sharpen it it is now razor blade.

Slip joints are far more dangerous than most any other knife type. My mom got my bro his first sak at 9 and he immediately cut his fingertip off. Imagine if she had bought him a Combat Troodon instead?!
