WHO WOULD REALLY WIN THE RACE? SUPRA VS FERRARI FROM FAST & FURIOUS (F355 Spider)

Anyone who has seen the first movie of the Fast & Furious saga remembers one of the most iconic scenes, starring none other than Dominic Toretto and Brian O'Conner. Or the equally well-known Vin Diesel and Paul Walker. Today we are going to analyze some aspects of the scene that at the time of the film's release, told a part of the story, but that more than 2 decades after that, the situation would seem to have changed.

Supra 220 hp?? err thats the naturally aspirated base variant!. The famous twin-turbo version was putting out around 320hp. Road and Track was performing 0-60 mph in 5.0 sec or less (I think Toyota claimed 4.9sec at the time). Given how tricky Ferraris can be to get off the line quickly, I would put my money on the twin turbo Supra which would also have superior torque at lower rpms.

Correct. Ferraris make for lousy drag racers, but amazing track cars. The low end high torque of the sequential twin turbos met that a Mk IV Supra was a great drag racer (almost as good as an American muscle car).

Is this video for real??? You cannot even compare the 2 cars. A tuned Supra would destroy just about anything in a drag race. The F355 is a beautiful car but certainly not meant for drag racing.
