For that concerto specifically, oboe sounds better. However, I love the English Horn's sound more in almost every case and I am currently writing a large orchestral work that I want to use plenty of English Horn in.

Each has its advantages and disadvantages. The oboe sounds as if it has a cold in its head, while the English horn sounds as if it has a sore throat. They're both good to have around.

English horn is my second fav double reed, but Bassoon is my favorite double reed.

Both, both are good. The difference between the two is the fact that the Oboe plays higher sounds than the english horn, making it more suitable for sweeter and happier music, which is this tune for example.

The oboe is the smallest of the double reed instruments, so it has the highest notes. The english horn is slightly larger than the oboe, so it has a lower pitch. And then the two largest and lowest pitched double reed instruments are the bassoon and contrabassoon

The baroque oboe of course. Not the modern one. Have you ever tried to play Vivaldi's Oboe Concerto in C Major with a baroque oboe? It is just one key for the low C and none key for the rest of the holes.
