Heya! I'm the author :) I know I've already gushed to you about your video in the AO3 comments, but I wanted to again say here how INCREDIBLE and AMAZING this is!! I'll avoid specific mentions to navigate around spoilers too (spoilers abound in my AO3 reply ;) but I just love your art style and how you flawlessly synced the animation to the music and the beat. In just 1 minute, you captured so much of the essence and mystery and relationships in the fic. It's like I'm getting a compacted glimpse back into my writing process and the emotions I put into it and the fic I had hoped this would become, which is extremely nostalgic. You are a master of fluid and seamless transitions! I have no idea how you conceptualized or animated this, it’s incredible and I feel like I’m being pulled through it in a heartbeat but everything was poignant and purposeful. I have slowed this down to .25 many, many times to see everything. Again, wow. This is so beautiful and you’ve changed how I think about and reread my fic; the music and visuals are forever a part of it! Thanks for sharing this and reaching out to let me know

Hi again! Thanks for commenting here :) I'm really happy my animation managed to capture the fic to that extent! I created this as a reader, so hearing how you see it as an author is illuminating. I imagine writing the sentences in this fic would have taken some time. But a reader can read a sentence within seconds. And pictures can be seen in less than a second. So I think I kinda get what you mean by "being pulled through it in a heartbeat" :) For creating this, I had a few scenes I wanted to animate, but my process was mainly just reading the fic and animating it as I go. Which was great, because I got see many little foreshadowing moments and in general your writing is just incredible. This is one of my favourite fics, hands down. Thank you for sharing your story with the world 💙
