Even on Whoa! they give up against me!
After two and a half hours spread over 90 attempts and actually making it to the fight in probably less than 10 of those, this is the best I could do!

Might have to do a video at some point yeah. Got good by just practicing though! Here's how: -Save your game -Go to Game Settings in the pause menu -At the top, click "Swap to Custom Game" -Turn off Player Damage, Hunger/Thirst Drain, and Equipment Durability -Practice parrying for as long as you like -Load the save you made at the start to re-enable achievements

Yeah that bug happens pretty frequently too. I had one run where she didn't attack at all! It was a faster run but I didn't think that would be a great video lol

It allows you to start running slightly earlier. It doesn’t actually make for a faster time, as the timer starts when you start moving, but it saves you from waiting to stand up every run

Yeah all of the above! While it's mainly to save irl time so I can start moving faster, after giving up I press space to respawn and it's easier to press space and start the timer at the same time than it is to start the timer when I think the game gives me control. Only makes half a second difference at most but my OCD likes it so

It's a pretty common bug, not totally sure what causes it tbh, seems to bug out around the sloped area where I made it jump up though

I actually customised my settings using this video as a guide: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l5nVZZSif81na68 The settings I settled on: Resolution 100.000000 View Distance 3 Anti Aliasing 2 Shadows 2 Post Process 1 Textures 3 Effects 1 Foliage 0 Shading 1 Oh and I turned off depth of field by going into the engine.ini and adding: [/script/engine.renderersettings] r.DepthOfFieldQuality=0 Don't need to set as read-only for the engine.ini, although apparently they added a depth of field setting in-game? Haven't checked that out yet

Pretty much! I got so locked in to getting my spear back I forgor I was fighting so had to 180 and yolo the parry and thankfully got it. And sometimes the widow just breaks and stops attacking, not sure if it's consistent but it did seem to happen more when she's around that dip in the northern edge of the rock, happened to me again the other day so still happens
