This is way cool!!! I'm a Baynard and Ralph Baynard was a Norman Conquerer and very close to William the Conquerer. In England, Ralph Baynard was a Baron and he built the Baynard Castle. The Baynard Castle has a lot of history. It burned down in 1666. I love this history! This Castle that she is visiting is amazing. I am so glad that it still stands.

Actually they are both related,Danny is my 16th Cousin 3x Removed, Courteney is my 16th Cousin 1x removed, is my 14th cousin 3 x Removed ,King Charles III my 11th Cousin,we are all more related than you all think my ancestral Grandmother was also the grand mother of Anne Boleyn

Edward II lived 720 years ago. 24 generations. You'd have 7 million forebears alive then and the whole population was only 5 million. 1300 is the common ancestor point. We are all related.

Courteney asks good questions. She descended from the man who killed the king, but don't forget she also descended from hundreds of thousands of other people alive at the time: the man who fed his horse, the woman who washed his underwear... The number of her 18 x great grandparents should be 2 to the 20th, or 1,048,576. (It's less because we're all cousins.)

no she did not directly descend from the man who fed his horse. But yes it is true that 17 generations back we have hundreds of thousands of ancestors. Some of these were saintly some of them will have commited crimes. Very true and they often forget to mention this in such tv programs.
