the issue was kandi and deeno was before this battle and kandi did the mum jokes to skamz dead mum but the crowd was booing kandi but orion did the same thing and crowd was feeling him and judges feeling him at first then they switched up cah they cant have double standards but they treated orion and kandi different even tho they did same thing ygm when u see the kandi battle youll understand what i mean

@miggzunclemurda187 That's a fair perspective tbh, but imo I think drizz and trapped took that. They didn't stoop anywhere near as low, and the delivery on most of the harder bars for Orion and Cheezee didn't really hit for me tbh. For the whole judge thing, they were told that they would be disqualified for pulling the dead mother prop if im not mistaken so they threw away the round right there. Again in my own opinion the disrespect level was through the roof on that bar, but the delivery was very basic. Not to mention Orion clearly lost his cool a couple times, and drizz stayed composed even through the mother bars, had trappy not defended drizz by snatching the ghost I think it would be less controversial.

Personally i think in rap battles you need to know how to play the audience, ren didnt win because he was the best lyrically he just knew how to play the crowd. Some things are just tasteless to some, there’s class then there’s trash, which I think came down to the fact they used that blow too liberally, when it should’ve been reserved. Orion let cheese down by losing the mental game, he got rattled over minor things and Drizz kept composure over the biggest violation, I think that played a part in the judgement making. Otherwise I actually agree , it was quite even in skill

See I would agree in every arena besides war and battle rap. Nothing is safe nor sacred when man wants to test their pen or bars. If the disrespect was handled with more flak we wouldn’t be saying anything but because it was just sloppy and aggressive folks wanna be like that’s a bridge too far but doxing a man’s yard to the world that’s still living who can get ran up on is not to far but a past situation being rubbed in a man’s face is too much.
