Worst Levels Ever # 3

Unfortunately, although there are lots of fantastic levels and stages in video games, there are also a fair few awful ones.
I will more likely pick bad levels from games that I otherwise enjoy. These are the ones that stick out the most and can bring good games down.
I was meaning to make episodes for this series and and its sister series Best Levels Ever take turns, but what the hell, trying to do things in order isn't fun. (And this is more of a Worst Levels Ever Extra)
Please no suggestions/requests for any possible future episodes. There are two reasons why I ask this:
1. This video is all a matter of opinion. What might be my least favourite level of all time might be your most loved and vice versa. I'm hardly going to want to bash a level I love, am I?
2. I'm tired of getting requests or suggestions, and in this case, there's an especially large pool of choices, because just about every game ever has stages, levels and maps.

The first time I was doing this part without a guide, I didn't know who in Glitzville to talk to, I ended up talking to Jolene, at that point realizing I could sign up again at the arena. I got all the way up to Champion again, walked around talking to random people (at this point I had actually forgotten about General White). When I finally talked to the right guy, I remembered why I was there in the first place...

Even the X-Naut base itself isn't a great dungeon. Unlike Chapter 7 of Paper Mario 64, where the entire chapter, dungeon included, was great, probably my favorite of the entire game.

I wasn't a huge fan of Fahr Outpost. I got the "tour of the game to reflect where you've been" but there are better ways to do it than a deceptive fetch quest.

Annoying as it may be, I think the idea behind this was to bring you back to every level you've seen, just to remember what you've been through. But they've done it in the worst way possible.

If you hate backtracking for no reason, I can only imagine what you'd think of Tales of Legendia. You play through the whole game's main quest and then guess what? Then you play on separate character quests and revisit every dungeon in the game. EVERY ONE.

How Mario can breath in space since the moon has no atmosphere? Mario isn't human, he is an alien, a X-Naut who betrayed his kind and transformed to Mario as a punishment

I find it a bit of a trolling by the developers to have the way to return back be a teleporter that you can reuse again and again, with the fact you can't access the door unless you from the inside out. In this game Mario has a partner that can slip through the ground, a bomb, a thief, an intelligent goomba, and a koopa with an obvious hard shell. Why is it so hard to get through a flipping door?!

It would have been better if your partners were lost in the blast-off to the moon, and landed in different parts, so the X-Nauts captured them before Mario found them, so you would have to explore their base to find them and then face against Lord Crump, it could also work if Crump had all of them imprisoned, so you would have to explore the entire base without any clue of them until TEC tells you about it (that would have added more challenge, and would be ceirtanly more fun)

I have reasons to think that this chapter was this long winded because the devs wanted you to level up a bit in between searches in order to be prepared for the final stretch of the game. I didn't remember this being this tedious though.

I honestly hate seeing my favorite game of all time get bashed like this, but to be honest, General White was the absolute worst moment in the entire Paper Mario series. At least you get rewarded with the best scene in the series afterward. But even THAT doesn't feel like much of a reward after General White... why do I like this game again?

My 2 least favorite chapters in this game, by an incredibly wide margin, are this one & the one before it. I liked the train chapter the first time but, on repeated playthroughs, it just feels like pointless walking & the "comedy" sounds that happen every time the penguin talks are incredibly grating. I hated Twilight Trail the first time I played it but it got a lot better to me with repeated plays because knowing what to do & how many times I need to do it makes the repetition less frustrating since I know I'm progressing & I know when it's gonna end. I love that your first 4 videos are all of levels I hate that I've barely heard anyone else complain about. Especially Mt. Mortar from Pokemon. That place is so tedious I've always remembered it from my childhood more than 10 years ago because I hated it so much even though I couldn't remember which place it was. I also hated Whirl Islands so much that it took me 3 playthroughs to even bother catching Lugia even though his existence was like some kind of magic to my child brain & I wanted him more than anything. Too bad I accidentally released him & saved shortly after catching him because I was a dumb child. Didn't get to use him once. Getting to finally use him in Soul Silver was amazing.
