To take the raw edge off of onions for a salsa I chop the onion and pour hot water over them for a few minutes. When drained and added they’re beautiful! 🧅 💓

Very interesting. I didn't know one could roast onions with the skin on, I suppose a bit like garlic. More videos please 😍

Great videos, they’ve really helped with preparing and cooking veg from your veg boxes. I’d love a video on preparing and cooking baby globe artichokes, thanks again!!

180 C = 356 F so 350 F is fine. I will be trying 320 F for 60 Minutes. I also cut them in half between the ends, cut side down on aluminum foil on cookie sheet. I also cut American large orange sweet potato in the long direction, cut side up, nothing or small amount of salt. I also treat the smaller purple skin Japanese Sweet Potato the same, whole roasted are a street food in Japan. I will be trying suggested butter & sage on everything.

Would removing the skin affect the finished product?

I imagine you could probably taste the difference, but not to a degree that it would taste BAD without the skin on. I've had plenty of onions roasted alongside other vegetables without their skin that still caramalise and taste savoury-sweet.
