Okay Brittany, this is fantastic!! I used to love getting a Frappuccino at work (many moons ago) and it really put the weight on me. When I first saw your video, I thought there was no way it could possibly taste that good. I was so wrong. It tastes so good and there is nothing bad in it for you. I LOVE this recipe. This is now my go to snack every afternoon. Best Frappuccino I have ever tasted!! Thank you!!!

Cool, I have been doing this for about a year now and I add 1/2 tbs of chia seeds and a tbs of hemp seeds also. So delicious!

So glad I took a chance on buying Dandy Blend. Reduced pb milk by 1/2 with half filtered water. Reduced banana to 3/4-1, added a few ice cubes; deliciousness 🤤

I make a similar recipe for my hubby, just adding some cocoa powder and spinach. It's his FAVORITE mocha "latte" (and he's NOT a fan of bananas). I encourage everyone to give this a try.
@sonikasharma243 жыл бұрын
How much Mocha powder do you add?
@alwaysneed2learn8063 жыл бұрын
@@sonikasharma24 I simply add a couple Tbsp. of raw cacao or cocoa powder.

Wow! This recipe is very easy to whip up. Added extra chopped ice to make them extra cold. So refreshing and enjoyable to have out on the deck relaxing. 😋😋😋

It never hurts to add raw cacao nibs if it fits your diet plan (and can afford it). I used to get fraps with the java chips & that was my favorite part. I like the texture of the crunchy bits.

WOW! Such a DELICIOUS drink. One made with almond milk the other one made with soy milk and used the Dandy Blend coffee replacer (some leftover for later from each). You can't taste the banana! Also made each with chopped ice to make them extra cold. Soooooo good!!! 😋😋

Frappuccino which is a trademarked Starbucks drink uses xantham gum as the thickener and so we use Bob's Red Mill xantham gum when we make our plant based version. I noticed the Dandy Blend is made from dandelion root, chicory root, sugar beetroot, barley, and rye. Lots of people buy chicory and use it as a coffee substitute. Lots of places sell ground chicory.

I had no idea that people were triggered by bananas. Although it may do something awful to the colour, I have many times used avocados with dates to make a thick, super smooth, shake like consistency. It may be good, using rooibus tea, as well. I like rooibus because it has a good full bodied flavour compared to many non caffeinated teas. Thanks for the recipe. I'm trying this tomorrow.
@d.rabbitwhite4 жыл бұрын
PS I use mazafati/Bam dates because they have a high moisture content and are very soft and sweet and blend well, to make caramel flavours. I think it was Laura miller, of 'raw vegan not gross', who said dates are nature's caramel.
