Thanks very much! Although Elvis performed this song, it was Jerry Lee Lewis who had the big, chart hit with it.

Great stuff Jez, once went see him ended up on the stage leaning on the Piano, a young lady knocked the piano prop down and hit her. I carried her off and walked past Jerry Lee not thinking of Autographs! He was amazing

What a great memory! I never got his autograph either, but I once got on stage after a Jerry Lee gig and took the polystyrene cup he'd been drinking Southern Comfort from. I still have it.

@@RocknRollSongbook It was in the days when the Beatles played a gig on a Saturday , quite amazing in the early days, they were due back on Tuesday of Wednesday the following week. We said leave it we will go next time, the rest is history they made their breakthrough and disappeared into the big gigs league!

Awesome man! One question: what tuning are you using on this song? I wanna try this on my guitar too. Tks man! ;)
@RocknRollSongbook5 жыл бұрын
Thanks very much Andre! My guitar is in standard tuning (EADGBE). I'm playing in the key of A, so the chords are just A, D and E. I think Jerry Lee plays it in the key of C, but A is better for my singing range. Best wishes from England!
@andredojaguare84415 жыл бұрын
@@RocknRollSongbook Oh, thanks for the answer man, really, in A seems better to play and sing. My vocal range is loud too hahahaha. I'm played this in F chord (F, A# or Bb and C) with capo on the 1st fret, playing on chords E, A and B. Play yourself on this chords man, sounds good too. Greetings from Brazil. ;)
