I love wholesome invasions. One time I invaded to guide people and the host protected me from their co op summon who was attacking me xD

same!! I've tried some wholesome invasions, during first attempts hosts and summons killed me every time except once, until I added "friendly" to my name and then almost everyone was chill, dropped some runes for most of them for being wholesome xD

Since many hosts are rather jumpy, keep your weapons out of sight (but keep them hidden, just in case) and use the grovel gesture if any signs of aggression are shown. Good luck.
