@@CtNobodyI used to be that way. I told my girlfriend like day one that I didn’t like gore or horror and would never watch movies like Saw but now I can say I love it. It took me about two years to transition and get used to it. Start small, if it is something you’d like to try. I started with Scream and then some other slashers. Then I watched videos about the saw films to kind of mentally prepare but you do lose surprise and plot twists if you do that. Another thing that helped me was rated M superhero shows like Daredevil, then I eventually watched The Boys which is extremely gorey. Now I watch the chucky show and saw and terrifier, those are super gorey and scary but I enjoy it now.

This vid reminds me of my wife. The other day when i was just trying to be funny, i said "Here's Johnny!" during one of our tickle fights, and then all of a sudden she wants to watch The Shining. Neither of us really like scary movies, but to be fair she did have some false confidence after watching "Sometimes They Come Back," another Stephen King flick. Those who know, they know. I tried to tell her that The Shining was in a whole nother league, but she wouldn't have it, and this scenario in the video is exactly how we wound up. Even though I had read the Shining before, but never seen it, i had only mild trouble sleeping, but she didn't get any for a week.
