I have that rapido hair dryer too and I hate it! I think I might get this one.

Hello, thanks for the information on the Airlight Pro, you should make a video how to change temperature and air flow speed.
@BoldlyLaurenАй бұрын
For changing the temp and speed, you can either click the buttons on the dryer itself while youre using it or adjust in the app (just a quick tap, it looks the same as it does on the dryer with the bars and shows the temp)

What is the professional pricing for this? I’m trying to find a website I can purchase from

I can't remember exactly what I paid, but it was over $400 - the pro pricing is surprisingly not a ton lower than it is for the public

Can you dry your hair from start to finish with the concentrator attachment ? It looks way too thin to be useful for drying. Might be great for styling but so many of us never remove the standard concentrator. For the price I’m shocked it only comes with two attachments neither of which are standard.

I leave the concentrator on from start to finish! I like a very directed airflow - keeps frizz down. Even with how thin it is, it definitely doesn't slow down drying time because the airflow+light is such a powerful combo.

@ last question. Can you use this at low and medium heat on the high airflow setting? I just bought a SRI infrared dryer and although it has 3 heat settings and 3 airflow settings- the only temp option for the high flow was high. I dry my hair on “ high” but always with medium or low heat. I never use the higher heat settings. I love the dryer but it’s totally useless for me so I need to return it. If I buy this one- I won’t be able to return it so I’m just making sure. I never imagined the $300 dryer that I bought would only allow low and medium heat on low or medium airflow. Since I bought it I gave it a try - on the high flow since I could only use high heat the drying time was 10 minutes. When I used it how I normally do on medium heat the airflow had to be in medium also and it took 45 minutes. If anyone is looking at the infrared dryer from skin research institute be aware that although they advertise 3 heat and 3 speeds ….. you can’t actually adjust the temperature on the normal “high” speed setting.

@crystaldingman773 yes! That's what I do - I set it at 195° and use the high speed

@ Thanks. Although I have zero interest in spending $650 CDN on a hair dryer - you can’t actually buy anything else with true infrared heat that allows high speed and low heat. Don’t forget the Canadian taxes … this will cost $800. If you have fine damaged hair and are trying to limit heat exposure and further damage like me, you likely won’t be able to find anything else 😕 It’s a great dryer but I wish they would have skipped the phone app feature and made this a little more affordable. I do not need all the bells and whistles.

@ I just read that when you attach the concentrator it senses the attachment and automatically reduces the wind speed - is there a way to bypass this? From what I’m reading it’s impossible to use the highest airflow setting with the concentrator is this true?

Could you please explain the advantages of the Airlight Pro over the standard Zuvi? I’m curious about this since it’s a partnership. I’m trying to decide which one to get for Christmas. Thanks!
@BoldlyLauren28 күн бұрын
While I haven't used the classic Zuvi, what I can gather is the Airlight Pro is a much more powerful dryer. The classic Zuvi uses 680 watts, while the Airlight Pro uses 1875. Additionally, there's no mention on the classic Zuvi about air speed settings (like how the airlight pro has a 17 blade fan for instance) or much about temperature control other than being able to change it between 4 or 5 settings, whereas the airlight pro allows for very specific increments which you can see on the display and your phone. Overall, it seems like the airlight pro combines the light technology of the Zuvi with more classic blowdryer functions, where the classic Zuvi really seems light focused predominantly. Some people really seem to like the classic Zuvi, but others say it takes a long time to dry their hair.

@ thank you very much. Look forward to using the Airlight Pro and seeing how it differs from my prior hair dryer. Wish there was a way to adjust setting without tuning the fan on. But hope it preforms well.

Odd there was no demo comparing this against another dryer 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏻 it’s all words
@BoldlyLaurenАй бұрын
I've done stuff like that in previous videos and typically people stop watching midway 🤷🏼♀️ watching hair dry isn't particularly exciting lol

@ but that’s the the whole point of us believing if the claim is believable. Even more so with mention of an affiliate link.
